In a season that started back in early September, son of BDB's hockey squad played their last game of the schedule yesterday with a 2-1 overtime win against New Richmond. What a way to end it.

End it. Who am I kidding.

We still have 2 weeks of open hockey and then a 3 on 3 tournament.

Then it's off to the spring and summer camps before we start next season the second week of football.

There are so few girls teams in Wiscy I think they all qualify for state.

Not that I've had anything to do with their success, but I would like to brag a bit and recognize my twin nephews who play for Mankato West HS, who is making it's first ever appearance at the class A state hockey tournament this Wednesday.  Tyler is their #1 goalie and Andrew is their #4 scorer. Both are Juniors. 8)
