I can't find Michael Crees on the '07 roster on either GoJohnnies or the medial guide.  Was he here last year, am I going blind?

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Anyone watching Brett Fav-ray weeping on TV right now?  It's like watching Fins talk about his golf game.

What golf game?

bennie,
Hope you will be watching the Av/Duck game tonight. I have to miss at least the first two periods.
The good Lord willing, I'll be in Denver tomorrow and have meeting Saturday all day so will miss the Dallas game.  >:(  Have to plan my trips to D a little better.  :P

I am definitely going to watch the Avs/Duck game!

On Sunday, the Caps/Pens game is at 12:30am ET...that would be 9:30am PT. With daylight savings "Spring back", it will really be 8:30am as far as I'm concerned. Hockey just shouldn't be played that early in the morning!! 8)

According to today's Denver Compost it will probably be a rough game, ...... 'The Ducks are chippy and dare you to knock the chips off their shoulders. Will the Avs get caught up in a game of retaliation, or will they try to smack the bullies in the mouth and be the initiators?'
Can any of the Ducks read     ah  English? If they can it should be fun.  ;)
They expect rookie Cody McLeod to be....'in a fight, a scuffle or a full-throated smack-talking session-or all three- with a Duck player tonight.......' McLeod allowed as how he was ready  -- pretty feisty for a rookie.... ;D

Unfortunately for the Avs, the biggest, baddest guy on the team has a degree from Princeton so I am pretty sure he can read! Poor Avs!  8)

I believe Crees took a year off to recover from a surgery?? I know he is still in school.

He also has an overly agressive porn-stache, which doesn't exactly give the impression of sophistication.  It's an easy mistake to make.

---

In 2006, Crees was 19-of-34 passing for 313 yards and a 2-to-4 TD-to-INT ratio as a sophomore backup to Alex Kofoed.  He relieved an injured Kofoed early in the Week 4 game at Concordia (though Mike Lofboom was actually the leading passer on the day at 1-of-1 for 87 yards and a TD) and started the next week at home against Carleton.  For what it's worth, Hansel spent the 2006 season as 3rd string QB before ascending to the backup role in 2007.

Crees pitched in 5 games for the baseball team in 2007 before hurting his arm (shoulder?) and missing the 2007 football season.  He certainly doesn't have the athleticism of Boyle and apparently doesn't have the arm of Hansel, but at one time in the not-so-distant past he was seen as the top alternative to Kofoed at quarterback.

Maybe now they can buy a football team!

If UST/CST has been unable to buy a football team with the nearly $200 million that has come in big chunks in the last 6-7 years, I don't think Mac will be able to with $13.5 million......IMHO  8) 8)

Don't show this picture to any of the more easily intimidated Avs! ;)

I don't think he had the stache when he was in college, but he did have the long hair (which he just recently cut to donate to charity).
