Touchdown Tommy

ROR,

The Short Bus may have a few open seats.  But remember that it isn't painted GREEN... :o

Finally got some time to post after returning yesterday. Thanks to JR, Veek, Duffman and Fins-we had a great time. Nice meeting Frank, Shoes, 105, and Ritz. Lots of fun, enjoyed watching the game with Veek and his father. Looking forward to another great tailgate and very good football. Veek, you were the champ of the last shotgun contest.  :D

Touchdown Tommy

MR,

Relax bud, that wasn't a shot at Bethel.  It was a prediction for a special encounter with the Cats from Linfield who happen to be OneArmedScot's favorite team.

Veek

Zip,

Great spending time with you and Kim on Saturday.  This Saturday will be a repeat.  We'll be rolling in Friday evening to turn the town RED

My father told me this morning how much he enjoyed having you and Kim sit next to us during the game due to your intense vocal qualities.  He is usually the loudest one around but he was able to take a back seat to yourself this past Saturday.  See you soon in WW country.
Go Johnnies!!!

Thank you Duff!

Like I said...bring on Linfield and UWW...you got a problem with that desertcat?

Mighty Royal

Mighty Mouse.

No problem,  you will only get to see the  cats..  then it's back home to watch the next game.  Oh that's right you are already watching ..  ;D
After watching the St' Olaf  game and the other TWO CUP CAKES on film last nigth..    The early morning line  Will open at

Cats 35 +,   Cobbers  14(maybe)..   ;D

Desert cat - Are you a coach or something?? Whats with the film watching?

Cup Cakes??  You could say that about Morris, but Olaf and Coe were both pretty good, assuming thats what tapes you have.  I'm sure Linfield has had some Cupcakes this year too.

Concordia may not blow out every opponent, but we win games.  And in the end thats all that matters. I've said before this will be a tough game for us, but I look forward to it.

And if you're going to predict something, don't put 35+ to 14 (maybe).  Thats not a prediction.  Put 56-0 if thats what you think.  I'm not much for predictions so I won't try to correct you.  :)
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

Mighty Royal,

I know you don't have endless cash to fly out to Oregon but if you do you can always stay with Touchdown Tommy.

See contrary to reports, TT is not living at the YMCA in Naples but he moved to Portland to the N.E. Portland YMCA.  He said the main reason is that because Oregon offers more money for aluminum cans than Florida does.

He's saving his money to buying bus fair so he can come down to Linfield and watch a game but he lost all of his savings when Prophet bunked with him over the summer and talked TT into buying an "authentic" Blake Elliott jock.  Little did Touchdown Tommy know that it is was just a Tom Linnemann jock and it was worthless on the MIAC black market.

Quote from: Gig Harbor Cat on November 21, 2005, 10:22:33 AMCare to break it down to me on how the Cobbers are going to hold the Cats to 14 when they average about 50 with the starters on the bench most of the second half all year.

The same way they did it to the team from Collegeville averaging about 50 with the starters on the bench most of the second half all year: a strong, physical, powerful line with fast 'backers and d-backs. I've been watching the Cobbers give fits to some of the best Johnnie offenses in history the last 7 years. Don't think you're immune. Concordia is VERY good.

Will the Cobbers win in Oregon? My gut tells me no, but I want at least one more playoff game in Collegeville this season--either next week or December 10. One of the two is happening. ;D Of course, if "next week" is the case, December 10 is happening too...
Nice day, huh?

No, I 'm not at coach they don't waste there time on such things.Around here,  But I do get to watch the films and did see all three games and they are CUPCAKES.. (IMHO)  ST'O, Augs, Morris.. You ave, 48 points on each .. They are very poor.. IMHO. ::)

If you go back and look it was the early morning Line, NOt a predictions.   My prediction/LINE  last week before  the OXY game went something like this opening line cats42, oxy 14,  then after films cats 49, oxy 21,, I missed it this week ..   So I will give you my prefiction for this week after I see the boys practice all  week.
And the game plan..  ;D

If this is the best MVP QB of the Miac then we will be just fine this year.. :o

Go Cats..

I'm glad you saw those particular tapes, dc1-- I know those were not Concordia's best games, as they "coasted" through STO.  Honestly, Schumacher against SJU was different than STO and beyond, and the Cobber defense didn't even show up against STO.

It'll be a good game, and I hope for a Cobber victory, but I think Linfield has too many weapons to be stopped by the Corncobbers.  However, if the 'Cats stop themselves, we may be thinking differently.

That said, GO COBBERS!

The tapes he watched were the Augsburg, Stolaf, and Morris tapes so it sounds.  Those teams are cupcakes.  I don't know how they play thier 40 point wins, but if it is anything like SJU's wins, the tapes will show nothing of importance.

Good Luck everybody.  If Linfield has already won, you should let me know, so I can start working on my plane tickets for next weekend to watch the Johnnies win again.

If I were you I would wait until after 4:00 on Sat to book your flight.

Really? Mount Union and Mary Hardin-Baylor might have something to say about that.

They thought they had something to say about it in 2003 and 2004 also ;D

And UMHB did, more than any other team in the entire field. I know you weren't in the playoffs last year but you should've paid attention.
