Well it finally happened, big brother has blocked Post Patterns at work    It is a great escape when I need it.  Now my retirement has to be approved. 

That's a travesty, stanbob!  It's a damn shame for your IT Nazis that the PP folks are here to tell you the trick to anonymous web browsing, where your browsing is redirected through a third party site... Work won't catch you anymore.

One service you might try that works pretty well is The Cloak.

And if that's blocked, try Anonymouse.

Or you could go with Be Hidden.

And if worse comes to worse, do this google search.  There are only about 1.4 million hits.

Make sure you use encrypted surfing on a site like The Cloak so that work can't see where you are going.

From their FAQ:

Q:    How much does my proxy know about my surfing?
A:    If you access the-Cloak through a proxy in unencrypted mode, and the proxy keeps logs, then it has a complete record of your surfing.

However, if you use the-Cloak in encrypted mode, then all the proxy sees is requests of the form

Seriously, good luck, the recovery from that surgery is tough, good therapy really helps.

However, my uncle used to put tomato juice in his beer and call it a breakfast drink. 

Aaahhhh..........Red Beers!  They are good.  Knew a bowling alley in college that served them with an olive resting on the bottom. Kind of a special reward for finishing your beer.      Hamms excluded, of course.  It is not a drink for the purest beer drinker.

Well, I admit that it has been quite a while since I had walleye, and, I was quite young at the time, however, I remember it being somewhat oily. 

If it was oily it was from the way it was cooked.  Walleye is a very light, flaky fish with about as mild a flavor as one could imagine.

fins.......just dont eat off one of the street vendors....or you will get hit with Montezumas revenge.  Last time I was there I caught a large dorado and we took it to a local restraunt, they made us dinner, had beers, and they kept the rest of the fish.  Good deal for the both of us.

Snoop- I go there often and about all I eat is ceviche on the beach and street vendor food. Nothing compares to a late night stand-up supper from the vendor outside of El Squid.
I have had a few great meals of fresh catch there. I'm gettin' hungry now.

My buddy ate from a street vendor and had to have surgery to remove the parasites in his stomach.  Be careful, but you are right the fish is great caught fresh.  Its great to wash down with some good Mexican cerveza, Modelo, Pacifico, Corona, dos and tres xx's.


Duff, you are right.  The preperation was awful.  I will have to give it another try when my son and I visit Minn in a couple weeks.
