MR,

Good for you.  That's noble.  All of you Bethel guys are good people....just joking around with you buddy.

As for me, I couldn't hack it at Linfield and had to drop out. ;)

Gig Harbor Cat

I do remember him flipping off the fans in the south endzone before the kickoff.  What a class guy

bennie

Ah, the trash talking has truly kicked in! ;D I am not even going to try to throw down like some of you.

What I will say is that Concordia is tougher than the Cat fans are giving them credit for. That said, Linfield has a strong program (currently and historically) and will be a challege for any team they meet. I am looking forward to a good game.

I have (briefly) met both Gig Harbor Cat and Wildcat11 and they are both actually quite nice. You can phone that in! ;)

For Cobber fans...the current weather prediction in partly sunny, areas of fog and highs around 50. Bring rainwear just in case! The Cat's home stands are covered, but the visitor side is not. I will see ya all there!

SOLID

WOW I believe that is the strong scent of SMACK in the air!

Things I think.....

Elliott

Crap--D I "washout"
Fact--Must have been good to keep Alex "#1 Draft Pick" Smith on the bench until an injury.  Will more than likely get an NFL look based off size and numbers.....more than likely by a team out west, free agent signing Seattle Seahawks.

MIAC

Crap--loaded with cupcakes
Fact--deep conference with teams that can beat anyone and Saturday.  EX. Hamline---terrible offense Outstanding 'D' probaby third best in conference.

The Cobbs are going to have to control the clock.  No doubt about it.  The defense is going to have to pressure Elliot, make him unconfortable and most importantly tackle.  Keep the play in front and tackle.  Minimize the big play.  The Cobbs have done this.  Ex.. SJU (minus one play).  Bend but don't break.  Throw the stats out the window.  I don't think that Linfield will hit 50.  I don't think that the Cobbs will rush for 300.  But if one thing has shown true more times than not:  Solid D and a good rushing attack can beat the air assult type teams.  ALSO, if it rains......RUN THE BALL!!

Control the clock
Keep the ball off the turf
TACKLE
Drive to St. John's next week! (my hope)

GO COBBS!

Congrats to the awards winners-- I kinda want to think that Dumo got robbed, but Schumacher is deserving given the value he provides to the Cobbers, so "robbed" isn't the word.  Dumo is a very prudent winner of the Stam Award.

What I think is amazing is that, given the loathing that Bethel tends to have for SJU, that MR is coming to the aid of the Johnnies over the 'Cats.  We'll return the favor MR!

Linfield faithful-
What are the 'Cats going to do next year when they lose their all-everything QB?

Mighty Royal

Just a guess, but find a kid who cant hack it at D-I again?

Are you defending our country in Iraq? Shut the F up about Seth, because he is. He's growing up the hard way so you can have freedoms like this message board to measure your joint with.

Be sure to check out the front page.  Awesome picture of Kevin McNamara with one of his 6.5 sacks of Mitch Tanney.
