Johnnie Red

KR, congrats on the record post and thanks for everything you bring to this board and the Johnnie kingdom. :D

The Stiftungsfestivities is on for this Saturday morning on the grassy area by the parking lot adjacent to Perkins Stadium. Starting time is 8:00 a.m. with the grills going by 9:45 a.m. Warhawk fans are welcome to join us for the tailgate party.

Anyone who is going to be in Janesville Friday night, let me know. I should be arriving there that afternoon.

I caught the John Gagliardi Spotlight, as well.  I thought it was well done.  Nothing new, but a very good show.

A tradition unrivaled...

ZIP,
Will you be in WW or at your regular reserved seat?

57-the crew will be heading to UWW, with a special guest in tow. On the grill front, the Polish sausages will be making their second appearance at JR's famous tailgate.
57-keep the popcorn handy, I am afraid we are going to need help in this game.

So rather than spend a Monday night watching Pack-Vikes, Bus Driver goes to the theatre?  Are we really sure his name isn't Oliver and he's from Michigan?
Heaven isn't too far away,
Closer to it every day

I really look forward to the possibility of doing this against UWW:  From the Peoria Journal Star:

"They didn't do anything different than what we thought they would," [Monmouth coach] Bell said. "We just couldn't stop it."

OneArmedScot....did you see the Monmouth/SJU game? I was wondering if Monmouth was any better than Lewis and Clark?

Sure sounds like Oliver from Michigan to me, with his collar popped!

KR- congrats on the milestone. Thanks for the karma and one back for your proud achievment.

If anybody needs updates on the status of the fish house building on Saturday, email me privately with your cell phone #, and I can provide periodic updates. Weather should not be a factor as we're building indoors. Big question is how long the batteries in the 18V cordless will hold up against some pretty tough lumber.

johnnie_esq

Just to say this again, I have a line on an alternative bus trip to WW on Saturday that may be more convenient for most in the Twin Cities.  Let me know if interested-- pm or email is fine.

Esq,

Just how alternative is your bus?

I think one alternative bus on here is plenty!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

One of my coworkers played at St. Olaf in the late '90s. He said pretty much the same thing about playing us: "we'd watch film and get all the tendencies and know exactly what you guys were going to do--hell, we'd know what plays were coming half the time--but we couldn't stop it."

Execution, execution, execution.
Nice day, huh?

Yeah, thanks a lot KR.  Ours will not be rainbow colored, and certainly not devoid of alcohol.   It will be similar to the bus taken to Concordia the past few years.

Tribute-Sounds like it was a great Cat/Griz game this past weekend.  If you ever have the chance watch the game at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Mizzou.  It's awesome with twice as many fans.  But glad you had a good time, wish I could have been there.  Some of my buddies went and had a great time.

GO COBBERS and GO JOHNNIES!

finsleft-
The profile pic you have brings back so many memories for me!  My fam and I used to vacation at Lake Kabetogama at Grandview Resort every year...we would always head to statue island and picnic...when we left, we would all climb atop that walleye and take a picture!  Wow, what a small world!  Hope you had a good time up there!  I hope to get back there some day with my fam!

Mighty Royal

P.S. UWW and Linfield STINK!

MR- It's an awesome part of the state. I've been going up there since I was born. Now I have a place in the woods near there. Have relatives with a resort on the Ash River Trail and my cousin was a dock boy at Arrowhead. That's where I learned to clean fish with an electric knife. 8) I sent you some Lake Karmatogama for that!

Yeah, until you try to paint it!
