The choice in seeding this year makes me significantly less interested in the DIII football play-offs.  I f I were Occidental, I would be pretty down about going undefeated through the regular season, after a region final appearance a year ago, and playing at Linfield first round.

And for SJU to have only one home game after the great season they had.  That is not right...

I understand the reasons that have been laid out, but I think that is a cop out...

Good luck Johnnies...

??? ??? what does that stand for or mean? anyone...
I'll take a stab at that. JR, correct what I screwed up. The Stiftungfest is the oldest civic celebration in Minnesota, held every August in the town of Norwood Young America.(Yeah, I know, wierd name for a town). At the celebration, they sell over 10,000 of their famous hamburgers. When our godfather, Johnnie Red, started bringing the famous meat to SJU football games, our gatherings morphed into the "Stiftungfestivities"

KR - Yeah I hear you - I grew up about an hour north of Whitewater.

Never fear - I'll hold down the seats for both you and ZIP but I won't let  the seat stay empty if somebody wants to sit in.

;D

57,

Where at?

I was born in Fond du Lac (Mt. Calvary actually, but their population is less than SJU's football roster). My mom's from Watertown and my dad's from Hustisford. Both sets of my grandparents live in Husti now on the shores of beautiful Lake Sinissippi.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

All-MIAC is out - I'll let you all check it out for yourselves.  I didnt see any HUGE surprises, but 3! 1st-team QBs??  I thought they changed the format to avoid that sort of thing.

I have to agree.  3 first team QB's and a second teamer?  Come on.  I always looked at "all-conference" as "better than all the other people in the conference" not "he's a good player."  And how do you have an all-conference team without a center?  Still seems like they just pick players at random to me.

I saw in the Star Trib today that MLV will not be wrestling for the Auggies this year because he has academic and personal issues to work out.  Doesn't he just exemplify what a MIAC athlete should be?  Give me a break.

Kubiak,

No way in hell. We left Wisconsin when I was 3, the only things I took with me were my love of beer, bratwurst, cheese, the Packers :(,  and cold weather.

Mrs. Zip will dominate you.  Duffman will be abstaining from competition this week in order to photograph said event.

Touchdown Tommy

This just in:  Preliminary reports from Eden Prairie MN say that Dusty SJU will be leaving at 5am from the confines of suburbia with Carbo, Fritz Wagner (his crazy brother), and Johnnie Irish (everybody remember him???).  Should be a doozy.

In other news, I have a 2nd confirmed report that the polish sausages were outstanding last weekend and the VIP service 2nd to none.
