Ypsi-Your Kittens are tough lately. I only wish they were a National League team. Rare breakdown of the Twins bullpen. Jesse Crain may not be as good as he thinks he is.  Hope they right the ship tonight.

Well, you got us tonite, but it took a rejected kitten (Craig Monroe's 3-run homer) to do it! ;)

Ypsi, what gives with Leyland and his staff wearing pajama tops to the games?
Everyday is payday in paradise.

The ex-kitten's feats notwithstanding, how about a backup catcher in the 3-hole matching stats with Baby Jesus and 2 walks by Gogo-WTF?
No lead seems safe with the kittie's batting lineup, though. Should be a good condom match today, peel that roof off and I'm there.

And a dose of funny...

Little known fact: In his later adult life, Billie Thomas (1931-1980), the actor who played the character Buckwheat in Our Gang, converted to Islam, and was thereafter known as Kareem of Wheat.

I don't think that I could have gotten with that one.

I would have been accused of right-wing radical hate speech and of needing sensitivity training.  :-\

I always thought he discovered his Irish heritage - then it was Kareem O'Wheat.

Looks like the fishing is good up in Sumander's neck of the woods.

Tmerton may enjoy this most, but all could find it entertaining.  It's the Bullitt Chase Scene in real time using Google Maps next to a movie of the chase.

Things have changed a bit here since then.  It's strange seeing how undeveloped portions of the city were in the 60s.

Heaven only knows how you find some of this stuff, Oz.

Crazy stuff Fins, Wonder if all those people tubing down the Ottertail realize those bad boys are lurking ???

Seems a little early by I am hearing reports of some pretty good size muskies being caught in area lakes!
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

JR- Did you see Frank's blog gave a little plug to the MIAC night in Chaska?

"* This year's MIAC Night at the Chaska Ballpark will be held July 16 when the Chaska Cubs host the Austin Athletics at 7:30 p.m. Anyone wearing a shirt or hat from an MIAC school will get into the game free. Stiftungsfest hamburgers (which I've never had myself, but I hear are tasty, at least from the tailgaters who consume them religiously before Johnnies football games) will be served at the game. The Chaska Athletic Park is located at 725 West 1st Street in Chaska."

I didn't know Frank was still a virgin.  :o

Going pretty well today, too. :)

I'm too lazy to look it up and my memory's shorter than my...well, I thought we were discussing the 8th or 15th. "When" seems to be the threshhold decision to make here. All the rest will naturally fall into place.
