Tmerton may enjoy this most, but all could find it entertaining.  It's the Bullitt Chase Scene in real time using Google Maps next to a movie of the chase.

Things have changed a bit here since then.  It's strange seeing how undeveloped portions of the city were in the 60s.

Heaven only knows how you find some of this stuff, Oz.

Finding this stuff... A talent I should be proud of?  Just don't let the wife know; I'd be chewed a new one for dinking around with "my little Johnnie friends on the Internet" again.

Your comment on development is spot on.  The second half of the chase, where they are in a semi-rural area, is interesting because on the map it's a divided four lane highway while in the chase they are on a regular two-way road.  Also, when the baddies flip and burn in a weed infested ditch it's a mini-mall/gas station complex on Google Maps.

Is anyone following the trading/signing frenzy in the NHL? I think I am going to have to bandwagon jump. :'(  The Jacket's front office sucks!!

Why Men Don't Write Advice Columns

Dear Walter:
I hope you can help me here. The other day I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't gone more than a mile down the road when my engine conked out and the car shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in the bedroom with a neighbor lady making mad passionate love to her. I am 32, my husband is 34 and we have been married for twelve years. When I confronted him, he tried to make out that he went into the back yard and heard a lady scream, had come to her rescue but found her unconscious. He'd carried the woman back to our house, laid her in bed, and began CPR. When she awoke she immediately began thanking him a nd kissing him and he was attempting to break free when I came back. But when I asked him why neither of them had any clothes on, he broke down and admitted that he'd been having an affair for the past six months. I told him to stop or I would leave him! He was let go from his job six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the ultimatum, he has become increasingly distant. I don't feel I can get through to him anymore. Can you please help?

Sincerely,
Mrs. Sheila Usk

Dear Sheila:
A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the carburetor float chamber. I hope this helps.

Walter.

I'm sorry, didn't the Blue Jackets get a "quality" defenseman? I was thinking that since they were hurting for centers, they could have worked something out with the Caps, who have 2 second line centers in Nylander and Fedorov (if they can sign him). Nylander was actually playing on the first line, but they found Backstrom to fill that role. They also have Laich, who can play wing, and Steckel for third and fourth line, so they have  a plethora at that position. I can't understand why Huet didn't want to sign with them, and went to Chicago where they have Khabibulin. Can't figue out some of the big contracts given to some of the players such as Jeff Finger, Mike Commodore and Bryce Salvador.

bennie

Which "quality" defenseman would you be refering to? Commodore, for which they are paying around 2+ million too much a year? Torres, whom I can't stand? Or one of the two towel boys (Backman and Tyutin) that they traded one of their few offensive threats and a decent defenseman for (Zherdev and Fritche)? They may be able to keep the puck out of the net with their defense (and that is a big maybe!!), but they now have few players left that can put it in the net!! :o

Willy Wonka

Hockey sucks.

Haven't followed this board as much as I should have over the last few weeks, but Hoag's...uhhh...triumphant return to the spotlight on Monday's night's Bachelorette show didn't seem to get any ink. I'll try to remedy that situation.

GAC's wonder boy tried to confront Deanna by pointing that she asks for very aggressive, up front guys but then seemed to go against that by picking the shy, withdrawn dude into the final four. She gets SUPER pissed at him and puts him in his place on national TV. It was awkward.

Wonka proceeded to talk to two ladies (yes, it happens from time to time) who canceled evening plans to watch Hoag make a fool of himself yet again. They've never met the guy but their take was surprisingly candid: dbag!

CC to TDT: Talk to Dinny about golf if you want to swing down this way. My calendar is looking pretty full.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Mayor: The 8th works well for me.  I believe the LWD and FrankR said that was good for them too.  Might be a nice opportunity for LBean to make an offseason appearance.  Where are we playing?  Any other MIACPP celebrities want to join the crew??  All are welcome.

Willy:  When are you gonna tell the rest of the MIACPP about you dating ROR's daughters...at the SAME time??

Let's play the 8th.  I'm terrible but I love the game and am looking forward to getting together.

I'll be away from internet access Thursday night through Sunday so once plans are finalized please post the details asap.  Depending on how many show up maybe we could do a scramble format.

A man and wife had long been thinking about getting into the art of swinging.  They had talked about it many times, and ran into two aliens one day while they were in the park.  They had a very nice conversation with the aliens and started to talk with them about how they made love.  They said it was the same as humans do with a few twists.  Both couples agreed to swap mates for the night and report the findings in the morning.

When the woman got home with her new alien friend they started to undress themselves and she made the comment of "Oh My".  The alien said asked her what the problem was.  She commented that would just not do.  He started to rub his ears and to her amazement he began to grow.  She commented that was better but it was very skinny.  So he started to pound his head.  Her face light up with delight and they made mad passionate love all night long.

When her husband returned home in the morning he looked tired and worn out.  His wife on the other hand looked refreshed and full of energy.  He asked her how the experience was, she commented that it was best love making that she had had in years.  She asked him if the feeling was mutual.  He said NO.  All the alien did was rub my ears and beat on the top of my head all night!

Generic Dude 75

Greetings everyone, Long time creeper first time poster...
Through my months of observation I've learned two things: 1) I know very little about hockey and 2) I have no good jokes...so would anyone mind if I pose a few football questions?
It's probably a little early to be talking about this for some but what's everyone's opinion of the MIAC this year? Any teams on the rise? Is the UST hype something to actually take note of? Will SJU slip without Kofed? Any games your interested in seeing? Basically I'm craving a little football talk right now and I'd like to know what some of you think.
