Frank Rajkowski delivers us a virtual bounty of good reading today.  First up an article, St. John's football: Johnnies set to go.  And second, the continue MIAC season preview.  The summary:

  Concordia: Surprisingly strong, particularly offense
Bethel: Strong on D, but critical turnover on O

She is actually 18.  I thought she was going to get screwed by the judges so the commies could win.

I am trying to decide which Athletic Exhibition is fixed more often, figure skating or gymnastics.

Firstly, I feel like people are way to hyped up on the Tommies.  I don't think they are going to be that good this year OR in the future.  They're garbage.  I like there new youtube running back though.  Good to see AO back on board.  Great insight.  Looking forward to the season.  I love Rowdy Gaines.

The Tommie's new running back.   If he can move his feet as fast as his mouth, watch out world.
I thought you were kidding when I first watched this but then I found that there is actually on the roster a sophomore transfer Michael Duncombe, a Mounds View graduate who transferred from Division II Truman (Mo.) State. At Mounds View, the 5-10, 170-pound Duncombe scored 43 touchdowns and rushed for 2,453 yards in his career.

Is this for sure the same guy as in the video?

If so, I'll give you my first ever +k instead of whacking you every time you pop up. ;)

Never mind I found the answer myself...http://www.youtube.com/user/mvd1481

It will be fun watching one of our d-linemen bodyslam this fine young man to the ground. :-*

I'm not really trying to start a fight...but come on...if your going to bash a team at least make it more clever...talk about how all Tommies are going to work for you someday...or...that the team gives out scholarships...or something? I wouldn't say that people are overly hyped about the Toms I just think there are alot of people (not in anyway shape or form on this board) that want them to be good. Obviously your oppinion is that the Tommies are going to suck this year, which is fine but at least back it up with some legit reasoning behind it...(Here comes generic but midly amusing Tommies suck list in 3...2...1...)

As for the new running back(who is one of the most talented backs in the league this year by the way) when I thought of someone rapping on Youtube I instantly thought of this and got very nervous...

Word on the street is this kid will be in Johnnie red by the end of the year...

Generic Dude, you are new to this board so you probably don't understand that TGWS does not have to enhance, elaborate or justify his insights as he operates in a section of the galaxy that none of us have access to.  Just take his word for things.  He is the ultra cosmic TDT.  And I am not being sarcastic; these are my heart-felt beliefs. 8)

And, as for ex-OU's Josh Jarboe, he's more likely to be in front of Judge Johnnie Red than in a Johnnie Uniform by the end of the year. ::)

Oz,
Nice to be near your time zone again. Thanks for the update link.

Pretty amazing place. Was roaming around the hutongs last night and stopped by a little place. Got four chicken skewers, some seasoned toast (on a stick to make this Minny guy feel at home) and a big bomber of Tsingtao beer.

Total price: 12 RMB or about $1.75.

Meanwhile a buddy who lives a little larger was buying bottled of water at dinner for 37/per pop ... USD and he bought three. It spins my head to figure out how much beer that would buy.
