We have been rating our all-time Worst Olympic "Sports"..In order (worst to least worst?)

1.  Women's 20K Race Walk (also insert Men's 50K racewalk here) -go fast...just not too fast...or you get disqualified
2.  Trampoline - surrounding the surface with glass shards, might make it a bit more interesting at least
3.  Rythmic Gymnastics - leaping?  Ribbons?   enough said...
4.  Synchonized Diving - if your not good enough to do it by yourself...stay home...
5.  Synchronized Swimming  - see above...

Honorable mention: Handball - We thought handball was like raquetball, not a combination of Soccer, lacrosse, water polo and basketball

What really chaps my a$$ is the fact that Badmitton, Rhythmic gymnastics, Trampoline, fencing, synchronized swimming, equestrian, etc get to be in the next olympics and baseball and softball don't.

What was the decision making process?

"yeah, baseball is primarily only played in North and South America and asia, so let's skip that for the next olympics. Where does that leave us?"
"With just enough room for men in tights twirling around with a bowling ball covered in glitter!"
"Perfect!!! This is just how the real greeks would have wanted it."

Seriously, are the doods from queer eye for the gay guy making the decisions for the IOC? ???

yes, it's 1230 in the morning in Cali, I'm on call all night, I've been here since 0500 and I'll be here until probably 1000 tomorrow and I was already at 65 hours for the week before I got here today :-\  I miss med school!!!

Checking in-getting ready here for our 11-12 year old pre-season game. Season starts next week at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday-will be looking for up-dates during the year, as most games will be played on Saturday afternoon.
I like a Twins/Cubs World Series.

Russian sailors returning from operations against Georgia have been greeted by hoards of bikini babes.  It's enough to keep a fightin' man enthusiastic about deployment...

Thanks to Reuters? I say shame on Reuters.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Best thing about boring afternoons in Oz?  I can ping the SC Times website looking for new articles on the Johnnies.  Today has a good one: Who will be the SJU QB? It's not clear.

But after one week plus of the preseason, St. John's offensive coordinator Jim Gagliardi said no decision has yet been made, and the coaching staff is comfortable taking a look at both players [Hansel and Boyle] in game situations early on.

Looks like Crees is still catching up from his injury.  Read it all, as they say.

As the title indicates... more hard hitting journalism from the Times....  kiss of death for Boyle however... another Tom Linneman?  I think Joe moves a little better however maybe Jimmy has tipped his cap.

What is Linneman doing these days?

Who will play him when they make a movie out of The Sweet Season?

Wondering....

The headline should read:

Who will be the SJU QB? It's Hansel's to lose.

That's the inside scoop. Bet a Hamm's on it.

71;  You can find him eating regularly at Ike's Food and Cocktails... just out his back door from Target Corporate in the City Center downtown Minnie.  You can also catch him every four years on KSTP 1500 radio Sunday mornings filling in for Jim Souhan while Jim's away at the Olympics....

As for Hansel... let's wait and see.
