Veek's absence will create a huge void in the sausage category.

Apparently I am the only one that read this and snickered like a junior high boy. 8)

High sticking, tripping, slashing, spearing, charging, hooking, fighting, unsportsmanlike conduct, interference, roughing... everything else is just figure skating.  ~Author Unknown

Gentlemen, let's have the acceptance speeches please.

Sum-I'll "settle" for walleye, too.
As the defending champion, I'd be more than willing to run it, but as I am somewhat of a polarizing figure, I fear that participation would go down If I were in charge.   Furthermore, I don't have the prognosticator abilities of the group Buckman used to come up with the over/under, +/- lines.

I saw that last night! Network TV has left something to be desired as of late so I was watching the NHL Network last night (Canucks/Ducks from 2007) and they had this great info on their news ticker. ;D

Fins - You'd do the +/- for AO wouldn't you?  I'd nominate TWS as an alternate, but ...  :-\

The White Silly

I just decided to withdraw my self-nomination as I realized I could never truly be counted on to do what was asked of me in running the show...however I would like to compete in the pick em's and make some wagers as I feel extremely confident in my ability to win anything I enter...

Hey BDB - you coming out with the Blue Devils for their game with Menlo?  You could stay at our house.  If they keep the Oaks on the schedule in future years you'll have to make the trip.  No walleye but we might have salmon (in future years :-\).

Don't think I'll make the trip tmert, but thanks for the offer.

Last year, when Menlo played here the guy I was sitting next to said of Menlo "looks like a bunch of fat Hawaiians."  :D

They did come back on our 3rd team and make it look sort of close at the end.

What the hell is going on??  Is the incumbent not even given a chance?  I'd be more than happy to run things again this year.

Let me know if my nomination is accepted by the powers that be.

I vote your nomination be accepted, move that all other nominations be rejected and the nominations be closed.  8)
