Looks like I will be in Collegeville this weekend for my first Johnnie game of '08 

Third home game of the season and your first.  Hmmmm.    Might as well bring your boat so we can admire it.

Contrary to popular belief, my life does not revolve around SJU football.  Are you going to be there so you can quite whining about the radio broadcasts? 

I always figured it was the drinking, not the football.  But don't worry Duff, since you're newly married we have a pretty good idea what your life is revolving around these days.    And yes, I'll be there.

What you have to ask yourself is it worth $25.00 for all the entertainment you'll get by spending a couple hours with the usual (and unusual) suspects at the Johnnie Tailgate Party? That should be the deciding factor. The fact that you missed the first two weeks, I think I know your answer

I've taken a lot of flak for missing the first two games.  Let's got over this again:

Week one:  Wedding of Mrs. Duff's friend.  No way I was getting out of that, even though I wanted to.
Week two:  Buying a boat.  The truth is that fishing comes before football for me.

I've been thinking that your posts per day ratio has gone down considerably since your high definition tv purchase. 

Has much more to do with the 80 hour weeks than the TV. I haven't been able to watch an entire NFL or College game on it yet

Wow, those video highlights were pretty good.  The team looked really crisp.  And how much fun was it watching Schnobrich and Reding running like that?  Schnobrich demonstrated a lot of speed getting around the corners on hand-offs and not just pitches.  And that first minute highlight of Reding carrying about 8 UWRF players three or four yards was good.  Very nice.  I love watching that dominating running game, although I can't complain about the big passing plays either.  I hope the producers tick the 'high quality' tick box the next time they load the vids into youtube.

I'm going to bed at 8:30 on Saturday to make sure I don't fall asleep as the computer boots Sunday morning.

What does it mean that a few of the highlights were 3-5 yard gains?  

I need more info on this possible TDT/PC makeup. I'm hoping it's just BS. If it's true, I'd like to schedule an appointment for TDT with Dr. KR. TDT, I know you can hear me, say it ain't so.

Buying that boat has almost guaranteed you for more weddings and such events as Mrs Duff deems to be important.  Now you have the threat of her taking the boat in the divorce if you don't go to these events.

Thanks for posting link to the Tierney Family website!  To all you posters, anything you can give, even if just a few prayers will be appreciated in this very difficult time!!  Rick lost his 7 year old to brain cancer back in April, and now barring a miracle is probably going to lose his wife.  That and he has a 5 year old son at home and a 6 week premature son who might never meet his mom!  BRUTAL!

Nope.  It was 10 yards up the middle, the last bit with over half of RF hanging off him.
