Of course if the impossible doesn't happen...I think you will find that the Cobbers will find it very difficult to sustain a grind it out game plan against the Cats.

"The MIAC Is Out"

If you're going to read the Sunday morning headliness a couple days early, you might as well read the whole headline:

"The MIAC Is Out To Make The Best Region Final Ever"

And the sub-header:

"Linfield and Whitewater Suck And Blow At The Same Time"

The first headline showed some real potential creativity....sorry about the second.

I'll be unavailable during the Linfield/Cord game.  Would a MIACer be willing to send me a periodic update mail that I can route to my phone for updates?  (Unless you're willing to send international text messages, in which case I'll get give you a phone number)

Wow, that is the last time I go more than 2 days without reading the board.  Took me 2 hours to read it all.

Just wondering if we need another grill for the tailgate.  I could always ride in the trunk and pull one behind our car if needed.

Time for my bold prediction for the week.  I am going to stick with 48-14 SJU and that we outdraw the home team.  I better get to bed now since it will be the last time I sleep until Saturday night.  Gotta love 13 hour drives to watch another Johnnie playoff win.

SUMMIT!!!!!

belated Thanksgiving wishes to all (even the WIAC and Linfield people   ;)  )

As many have said...I give thanks for the commarderie and friendship on this board...even tho at times it sounds liek we hate one another, deep down I think everyone on here has respect for each other (Sofa King being an obvious exception). The people from here that I've met-- JR, ROR, KR, Duff, Dusty, MyYak, Veek, OAS and I know I'm forgetting a bunch more--each of you has touched my life in a postitive way. For that I say THANKS!!

Now, may the Cobbers & Johnnies win and may all players from all teams involved stay healthy!

You guys need to go and check out this clown  "soulsenda" that is posting over in the north region on the Illini-Badger board he's supposedly the captain of  some team in that conference ::)

Thanks for the heads up.

If you haven't read his stuff do it because it is really funny.

I can't make any promises, but send me your phone number...Sometimes the phone lines here in Outer Mongolia seem to go down more often during the playoffs....I think there maybe an anti D3 conspiracy in my neck of the woods...but it won't be the first time I've gone international for game updates....email your phone number to

Wow...it's burning up in here...with 584 pages of posts it's real easy to figure out where all that hot air is coming from. ;D 8)

Ah, tricky.  Giving me a different Linfield athletic supporter's email address.  One that just dinged my karma at that.

You'll have to get up pretty early on the Mongolian Steppes to pull one as simple as that over a Johnnie's eyes.  You must be spending too much time talking with the Yak herd if that's the best Linfield has to offer.  Assuming you spend your time talking to the Yaks and not ... :-*

Anyone genuinely interested in keeping me updated is thanked for their efforts.

Those who bet I couldn't stay off till after the game win. I have to confess I read most of the posts too.

Just wanted to say that I'll be at the game early, and will have plenty of extra beer if anyone wants to stop by and have a few. I will be the old, fat guy with a white beard drinking beer out of the trunk of a grey cadillac.

Everyone drive safe, and good luck to both teams, although you know I want WW to win by 30!!

Oz,

I resent the fact you call my family a herd. I have a large family but come on... ;D

Agreed....your family may be a tribe (a very swift tribe at that) but not a herd)
