The vikings might as well sign Michael Vick to a contract now, so no one can pick him up right out of the big house.  Plus, wilf could actually have talent in the qb position for the first time since he took over as owner.

They've simply got to fire Childress at this point, right?  I mean, that's professional incompetance.  That's worse than trying a 76-yard field goal.

TC,
Childress is horrible!  Did you see his bad play calling at the end of the first half?

That was pretty cool. ;D  Might still win this stupid (but highly entertaining) game.

Rarely do you see announcers and play by play commentators be as critical of a coaches play calling as in tonights game.  Where is the Tark when you need him?

Ah, the Tark.  Can anyone remember a bad word about Tarkenton?  Maybe near the end of his career when he couldn't escape as easily.

I think he retired so he would never have to play against the Steelers Steel Curtain defense again. ;)

I think he was tired of playing against AFC defenses in general.  None of them (Dolphins, Raiders and Steelers),  treated him nicely in the Super Bowl.

That's like saying because the price of oil went down today we're headed back to $2.00 gas.

The Tommies have sucked, do suck and will continue to suck. That's a scientific fact, and you can't argue with science.

Who have the Tom's beat this year that Carleton and Augsburg haven't/can't beat?
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Maybe they should have called him Ofer Fran.

Personal opinion, I still don't think the Vikes have had a QB who can lead the team since Joe Kapp.  If I remember correctly Tarkenton was TO before TO was even born.

I don't remember Tark being a loud mouth all though I do remember him being very cocky before the first time they played the Steelers in the Super Bowl.  Talk about domination.

BU still has to play Auggie which could be trouble, but overall reports of the demise of Bethel football had been greatly exaggerated.

I don't want to come across as a typical line user, but, I don't think that my Auggies can take Carleton as a sure win by any means.  Ramler has the Knights playing VERY well, has a VERY solid receiver and an offense that knows how to put points on the board.  I really want to see my guys get the win, but I cannot count the Auggies as the team that Bethel 'still has to play!' I am nervous about this weekend's game!

Go Auggies. Play WAY better than you did vs. the Pipers!
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

I was down 3 points going into tonight's Monday night game. I had Longwell going, he had Brees. That last second desperation interception that Brees just through sealed the win for me.  God I love how UGLY that game was tonight! All of the Reggie Bush scores kept Mr. Brees on the bench!  Way to go Reggie!

KR's right on this one.  Tommies lost to Olaf by six.  Olaf lost to Carleton by 14.  Therefor, Carleton beats the tommies by 20.  Olaf lost to Augsburg by 28, but beat the Tommies by 6.  Therefor, the Tom-Toms lose to augsburg by 34.  That's just good math right there  ;)

He wasn't a loud mouth but he was all about being the center of attention.  Being a loud mouth in that era would have had him stocking shelves.
