I wouldn't take to taunting "bennie.' You may be asking for a replay of the unfortunate Denny Pratt tragedy. It would rival the whopping that "Poodle" Lussier put on him, and I doubt if she would have to go into semi-seclusion in northern Oregon as he has done in Northern Quebec.

I always thought that one of the best things about playing Torrey Pines was watching the F-16's and the roar of those fighters from Mira Mar as they fly over the course on their way out to sea.

I'll hate on the Johnnies as much as I can for the rest of my days, especially on these boards. My favorite team is always the one SJU is playing that particular day. I've made that statement to TDT at least 100 times in my life. I have nothing to hide.

You are all good guys in person — except the Anoka grads among you — but the constant SJU circle jerk has gotten more than a little tiresome. Contrary to what you might have read on here for the last 5 years, there are football games being played outside of Collegeville every Saturday. This season has been extremely refreshing in that respect, as the Johnnies have dealt with issues that the usual parade of D1/D2 transfers has been able to hide. The real world welcomes you back with open arms :)

And I'm glad the Carlies and Auggies have answered my call to come out of the woodwork for some actual football chatter before the big game. I may be a GAC backer, but I'm a D3 fan at heart and enjoy learning about the best teams in the conference. I'm hoping to hit the webcast on Saturday to check out all the hype. Best of luck to both squads...but I'll be pulling for the Auggies.

Bennie - Point taken...but hockey still sucks :-*
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I don't see why we should be continually subject to your "penis envy" regarding SJU.  Get over it.  It is readily apparent that you regret the college choice you made.  We forgive you.  It's about time you forgive yourself.

In addition, your petty schadenfreude is particulary self-belittling.

Ok. I need a lifeline on this one Oz.  ;D

cobbernation

A matchup of two 3-1 teams this saturday at the Jake!  St. Thomas has some impressive offensive and defensive stats, however I believe the cobbers took full advantage of their bye week to get their legs fresh and offensive woes behind them.  I will predict a great game for my cobbers as they beat the tommies at Homecoming.

Im really impressed by the Auggies this year. They are looking real good. I believe they will win their division the way they are playing. You have to agree with me. No on they played so far has been able stop the presence of Air Auggie. And their defense is astounding. A great future is in store for the Auggie. Believe that.

Welcome DeAndre.  Good luck saturday.  Doesn't look like you see very much playing time though.  It is unbelievable how much these Auggies love themselves.  Just go play the game.

You obviously know what you're talking about, since it appears you spend a lot of time watching the games.

Hope they're feeding you well.  I'm 5'11" too and fondly remember when I weighed 153 pounds as a college freshman.  Hope you can put on another 20 lbs this year, like I did.  But in muscle, not fat.

Oh, and you might want to refer to your team as "we" not "they".

If I'm not mistaken, Berg threw 1...2...3 picks against Hamline last weekend.

Yea sure, I feel you.  I wasn't trying to say anything bad about the Auggies, just joshing with the fellows, you know.  Go Auggies.  Everyone in the MIAC should get to play MUC some day so they can feel that.
