Looks like it's time to shut down shop at Auggie Bandwagon Headquarters--it was a good run.
Let's go Knights!
We can DO this!
Yes we can!
Yes we can!
YES WE CAN!

Still going to be here, TC! Whenever you want to come back, you'll be welcomed with open arms!

Lone Auggie Backer for President  in 2012!

Change we need...Yes we can...Yes we can...Believe that!

Seriously though, you've got your campaign platform all set.  Assign yourself some credibility by calling yourself a straight shooter, and then call anybody who disagrees with you a moron or an idiot.  Seriously, how can you lose?  You're from a state that's about to put Al Franken(putz) in the US Senate.  Anything is possible!

"I'm Lone Auggie Backer.  I'm a straight shooter.  You're all morons, and I approve this message."

We've all got an officiating sob story.  Get in line, Hoss. ;)

I hear what you're saying, sir! I get it.  And, you're not all morons. Just those that disagree with me! See where I'm going with it! If you agree, not a moron. If you agree, cool. Disagree. Moron. I say, we should all become cannibals. Agree with me, cool. Disagree, moron! President is too amateur for me.  Instead, you should vote for me for King! ( besides, in 2012 I won't be the requisite 35 yet (only 34!)

I also hear you that the official bit goes around. Thing is, I won 4 games in 3 years. Since then, we've rarely been in games. This is the first time that the officiating has actually hurt us! When I was there, it could have been the dads of the opposing team calling the game. We were so bad then, it wouldn't have mattered. But, whey the guys play their a$$es off, come up with some big plays only to have that effort negated from time to time, it gets a bit frustrating. So, when its my first time experiencing a game where bad officiating matters, it sucks!

Probably something the Johnnies, Royals, and Cobbers out there have experienced as they've played in so many big time, important games in the past and have assuredly experienced a bit of the crap officiating. However, we haven't! So, this is all new to us and it really sucks!
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

cobbernation

Not the best showing by the Cobbers yesterday!  Penalties that were unecessary came at crucial parts of the game.  The passing portion of the offense needs more work on basic fundamentals (1. catching the ball and 2. securing it)  All in all hat goes off to St. Thomas who pretty much controlled the game from the very beginning.  The cobbers need to keep their heads in it since the season is far from over, however one more loss in the conference will most likely end all playoff hopes.

I'll be emailing the current guys to suggest they not post in such a manner (especially when their identities are so easy to discover!)

LAB,
Do these guys know they can get a G-mail or Yahoo or HotMail acct. for FREE?
Anything but your school e-mail. Might also want to tell them not to use the combination of their nickname & jersey number. It makes it more of a challenge when they only leave a few bread crumbs, not the entire bakery  ;)

Hey, if they know very little about the ins and outs of posting on this site, I'm happy! Correct, they even advertised where to find the bakery!  Both were warned, both were highly apologetic. Both realized that it wasn't a good idea to be posting!  So, hopefully we won't run into that again!

I warned one of them before they even made their first post. Oh well.  :-\

Note to self and everyone on the d3 bandwagon...don't ever see the movie "Quarantine"....easily in my bottom 10 of all time (along with "Joe vs the Volcano")...that's it for now...that's it...Go Pipers!

I saw the movie today actually.  The end was an abomination.  Wasn't terrible until those last five or so minutes I would say.

Bottom 10 all time?  Let's be serious here:  Rambo 3, Rocky V (it took years before I was able to acknowledge the existence of this movie), Rocky Balboa when considered an action/drama/sport movie (easily in my top 10 comedies though), Alien vs. Predator 1 & 2, forgetting sarah marshall, Beverly hills chihuahua (haven't seen it... call it a hunch), and any spoof movie that is not made by mel brooks are all worse than quarantine

Forecast for southern Wi. .......light beer drinking commencing around 11am getting heavier as the day goes on. Possibly  severe  by 2pm, then gradually changing over to rum, ending by 7pm.

If some one could add a fishing story, maybe blame the bait for not finishing with the biggest catch.

Yeah, I was out fishing on Saturday.  Didn't catch anything.  Frickin' fatheads weren't doing their jobs.  Plus, all those idiots in their big cruisers out looking at the fall leaves.  And don't get me started on the traffic jam in Stillwater.  To top it all off, it started raining.  It's all a consipracy.
