I understand you would like to donate to Catdomealumni.com but I'd rather you keep your blankets and cardboard boxes because I hear that winters in the twin cities are cold and I don't want to take away your primary shelter.

What?  Linfield still has enough "jump to post-season excuses/alilbis" mats to auction off for proceeds?    I think TDT's still sunning on the beaches of Florida for awhile, right?  Just remember, TDT may have his cardboard box and rag-tag blankets but he still has a scorecard that says "SJU - 3/Linfield 0" and the warmth of that knowledge will keep him in good standing through the MN winters

Well, they can limit speech on private property but I would be hard-pressed to believe that SJU, as a university, would have an actual policy about this.  Hopefully, the monks are too smart for that.  So, if one has a "Tommies Suck" t-shirt on, they will be asked to change?  All of this at an institution of higher learning ("institution" being used intentionally.... as in PC asylum masquerading as a place of higher learning)?  I think the alumni could very well make some impact on this by toning down the contributions.  It's one thing to be a person or coach dropping f-bombs around.  So now we're condemned to cheering thus, "go, team.  Run really, really fast, faster than the other team, so you can win" "to the other team:  We really hope your team plays poorly and if your team gets clobbered your still a good team and it's ok to lose...maybe you'll beat us next year"..... "Rah, team" what a bunch of mindless pc nonsense. 

   Chewey, if I'm not mistaken, SJU is not above this type of censorship.     I think last fall our friend Frank Rickard was sporting some apparel at the Tommie game with some humorous,  message.   Actually pretty mild as I recall.      Believe he was stopped at the gate and told to get rid of the shirt if he wanted to enter.     Very sad.   

What??  We have the schutstaffel at the tailgate and lumbering around campus and the field to make sure that no one parks two inches into the wrong spot and to make sure that no one looks cross-eyed at anyone AND we have this kind of PC dress code garbage??  Hasn't the J-Club or the Alumni or Coaching staff complained about these antics yet?  I thought all of that was behind us once that one eunuch  in change of campus activities was let go awhile back.  Some of us alumni really need to nip all of this in the bud, so to speak.

A lot of it may have to due with insurance.  D-III can't afford the lawsuit if some clown gets drunk at a D-III game gets in an accident or arrested and turns around and sues the school and the NCAA.  Just a thought.

Your statement here, brain-fart, is a testament to how wrong you were about this board being an SJU love fest supported by mechanics rather than merit.  The non-banning of your crippled intellect is not a stunning display of inconsistency by the board administrators, but rather an exposing example of your wholly incorrect biases and prejudice (not to mention another clear snapshot of the synaptic graveyard inside your scone).

You make 250k a year if we're counting pennies.  If you can string more than two words together on a piece of paper, I suggest you write USTD and demand a refund.  It's pretty clear that you sadly depress even their shockingly low standards.

But the game outside of your fancy imagination will occur at Summit and Cretin in St. Paul, and don't let the Tommies' decent record to date fool you-- they have yet to play Carleton, SJU, Augsburg or Bethel...or even better, Northwestern!

Honestly, would anyone (besides TC and his Carnac like call in his season outlook) have guessed that Carleton and Augsburg would ever be included in a list like this before this season started? I mean, I knew that my guys were going to be VASTLY better than we've been in the past, but to be included in with the likes of SJU and Bethel, especially after the long run that Bethel made last year! Wow, how a season can shift in a hurry!~

Ha don't flatter yourself Pat.  Do you really think that you are that important?  If you pay attention, NOBODY cares when you come to the Stiftungsfestivities (in fact most would rather you stay home or away from the tailgate).  Nobody fondles you or bows down or tells you how great you are (see: Linfield), because the truth of the matter is that you aren't.  Hopefully that spells things out nicely for you.  I don't want there to be any ambiguity here.

With respect to schools, one can not go wrong with any school in the MIAC.  I just don't know how students relate too well to each other or get to know each other well when everyone leaves on the weekends like they do at UST.  It's a good school but it seems quite impersonal and antiseptic to me; I am sure some people like that though.
