"The Best of Both Worlds" is set to start playing at 5am.  Mylie Cyrus don't fail to wake me.  You'll break my achie breakie heart.  I don't want to miss a minute of that sweet, sweet video.

Send us your tel # at home and we'll wake the whole family for you.  But at least you'll be sure to be up for the game.

TC- first, you and I have had a bitter Fall, one in baseball and the other in football.

Now on to this year's team and Kofoed. I am sure that some lack of production is attributable to losing Kofoed. However, based on what I have read from other posters who have attended the games, it is the O-Line that is the problem. I not sure even Kofoed would be able to do much if that is the case.
There is always some rebuilding to be done, remember 2004? What if Keating had been back? So rebuilding isn't bad, as long as you settle on one qb and get him experience.

I will be here and watching the video link that Oz posted earlier in the week.
Looking forward to seeing that playoff caliber team. :-\+K to the usual suspects, as it is Friday.

Hey Zip, how much of the team's decline this season, if any, would you attribute to the graduation of Alex Kofoed?

I hate to knock Kofoed off of your pedestal, TC, but even he wouldn't be able to do much with 4 defensive lineman breathing down his neck nearly every play.

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

He'd at least have a better chance of seeing over them. ;D

Ryan Keating had to be one of the shortest QB's in Johnnie history and he led them to a national championship. He had blocking.

Looks to be a very nice afternoon for football in Northfield today.  With the southern chapters of Johnnie alums attending stiify fest and then the game do we have a chance to out number the Ole fans?

In reference to the game itself, I see all the Johnnie predictions point toward Collegeville.  If the Ole defense plays well, which it appears to against the run, it might come down to special teams execution. (again)  Who wins this battle?

To all our friends in Cobberland, i.e., the Redneck part of Minnesota.

How do you know when you're staying in a Redneck motel?
When you call the front desk and say, I gotta leak in my sink, and the clerk replies, `Go ahead.'

Did you hear that they have raised the minimum drinking age for Rednecks to 32?
It seems they want to keep alcohol out of the high schools.

Two reasons why it's so hard to solve a Redneck murder: 1) the DNA is all the same and 2) there are no dental records.

Who invented the toothbrush? A Redneck. If it had been invented by anyone else, it would have been called a teethbrush.

Did you hear about the $3 million Redneck lottery? The winner gets $3.00 a year for a million years.

A new Redneck law was just recently passed. When a couple gets divorced, they are STILL cousins.

Did you hear that the Redneck governor's mansion burned down?
'Yep. Prit'near took out the whole trailer park. The library was a total loss too. Both books went poof... up in flames and the governor hadn't even finished coloring one of them.'

JR,

Are you sure Moorhead is the only part of the state that could be classified "Redneck Country?"  Pretty sure Stearns county could be on the list!

Cobbernation, I think Stearns County is the intellectual center of the state, so it could never be considered a Redneck area. Always amazing to me when I drive to Cobberland from the Longville area and all I get on the radio is country music. No rap, no polka, no Paris Hilton! :'(

This is coming to you live from the Goodbye Blue Monday Coffee House in downtown Northfield. Quite the place to be. So many runners stopping by.

Should be a great Stiftungsfestivities this morning. Sounds like we should have over a hundred persons in attendance. It would be wonderful if Jesse James made a guest appearance. I will keep you posted.

The Oles do have the MIAC leading punter and the MIAC leading kick returner, so hopefully the Johnnies have "exercised their demons" and will have solid special teams play. I hate to hear that damn Um Ya Ya song  :D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Agreed, 105.  Do the Oles still have that PA guy who asks all 50 St. Olaf fans where the rowdy section is on every 3d down?  They didn't bother to show up today if they ever have, Sir.  That and the stupid train whistle always made monkey-stomping Olaf a little more satisfying. ;)

I went to the Milwaukee Admirals/Peoria Rivermen AHL game last night. I saw a car in the parking lot with the license plate "PHINS RT" any connection to finsleft? I also met Dave Steckel's dad. If you have to ask, "WHO?" don't bother with finding out, because you will not care.

I will be here rooting the Johnnies on today, so let's "Git er done."

What the hell was the SJU LifeSafety gestapo doing at O'Shaughnessy  Stadium last Saturday for the Johnnie/Tommie game?    The male LifeSafety knuckle-dragger there was the guy we had the major  problem with several weeks ago at SJU.      Who let him out of his cage?

Can't make the gathering today.    Have fun.     Hoist a red cup for me.
