What do you expect; this is a guy who lives in a world in which sad sacks Tirico and Kornheiser are considered good announcers (I'll give Jaws a pass). 

Ps do you really think Tirico is that bad? Kornheiser is terrible and likely gone after this season but I would rather listen to Mike than Michaels or Joe Buck any day.

This is a joke, right?  Or are you serious?  Tirico is horrible.  You are perhaps too young to remember when MNF had decent, even very good or excellent, announcers.  (Heck, Dandy Don was a nut case all his own, but he knew football; only Jaws of the current crew has a clue what football is about.)  All 3 of these guys would be carrying briefcases in those days.  And please, don't get me started on Kornheiser in his other show.  PTI?  Sad sack Tony only looks good there because he's paired with Wilbon.  If you want to vote on entertainment value, fine, go for it if that's what you like.  But two clueless guys yammering at each other is not my idea of journalism, and I'm certainly not entertained. 

You are missing the point.  I said Mike is better than Joe Buck or Al Michaels.  The show could be better but all things considered we are getting pretty incredible ratings. 

Todays sports world is much more about entertainment than journalism.  If you want straight journalism watch the sports reporters at 9:30am Sunday morning on ESPN or pick up the New York Times.  Like it or not, it is what it is.

I also like Kornheiser on PTI, and Tirico as a golf announcer. I hope that doesn't burst anyone's nuggets. They filmed (taped?) PTI in the same building that I worked in in DC on the corner of 7th and Mass Ave. Curiously enough for a US Treasury Dept. Agency.

We just don't care for him as much as for you & TDT. There comes a certain "tipping point" where  negative karma becomes a good thing. We certainly don't want Freebird or AO to be misled in any way, shape or form........

Personally I enjoy Tony...I really liked his radio show when he was on ESPN, Colin Cowherd replaced him but has taken some getting used to.  I saw Tirico when he was very young, just starting out in Syracuse, he has been very consistent, Jaws is great, has a real understanding of all that is going on because all he does is watch tape...

Joe Buck is ok...but lets face it nepotism has helped...the guy who has taken the biggest advantage of that is Kenny Albert
