Joe Buck is ok...but lets face it nepotism has helped...the guy who has taken the biggest advantage of that is Kenny Albert

Agreed that Buck is passable.

But I think Chip Caray is the poster child for worst announcer who got his job through nepotism. And Thom Brenneman belongs on the list.

I spied one of the Dumonceaux boys at the Hopkins/EP game tonight.  Could the Johnnies actually be getting out and doing some actual recruiting?   I don't know which one of the boys it was as they all look alike to me.
EP is tough...smash mouth football...kind of reminded me of what BU has done to SJU the last couple years.  If Grant does end up at SJU the BU/Johnnie games might get done in about 2 hours the way they would run the ball.

Damn Oz, no game today and you are up early?  Or still up from Saturday night?
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Happy 82nd birthday John Gagliardi!

Do ya think Peggy made him take the day off today?

My hunch is all the Gagliardi's will be hangin' around Flyntown today watchin' either the two high school games at Clemmens beginning at 11:00am or some great Texas barbecue beginning at 7:00pm.

Maybe Peg will whip up her "Peggy's Meatballs" featured in the September 19th, 2005 Sports Illustrated "Tailgate Nation".

Looking for updates from the Gagliardi household...   ;D

Just checking for something to read before hitting the hay at about 10:30.  It was Saturday night so I tried to reclaim my youth by staying up an extra 30 minutes.

HAHAHAHA what a day today.  I think someone stated earlier that the bandwagon is BAD LUCK!!!  the rumors are true, Cobbers lost today when the wagon rolled into Jake Stadium.  Does anyone want to win our conference!!!!???  Unless im mistaken there are three teams now tied for the MIAC.
Soli Deo Gloria

VOJ

Just think...whoever wins the conference will most likely be on the road in the playoffs, unless its $JU because the NCAA knows a good thing when it $ee$ one

Too bad Hamline could not cover a kick better or not commit a pass interference penalty last week late...

OzJohnnie

Good golly, miss molly.  Johnnie Magic (tm) is a certifiable, confirmed presence in the world.

CC bandwagon for one more week?  Come on, Cobbers, we're all behind you!
