Someone care to fill me in....whose bandwagon is rolling this week?...I don't have much of a memory thanks to my Alcott Ave. and Court Ave. days.....I had school conferences last night...what a nightmare...parents need to relax...oh yeah, I do teach America's youth by the way...scary thought I know...
OK...well that begs the question of who you teach and what you teach them?  If it's some boring subject to 7th graders, that would explain a lot. :D

Good grief!
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Now that is a Science class that I would like to sit in on.

We will be having the Stiftungsfestivities tailgate party this Saturday when Auggie Tech comes to Collegeville. Auggie fans, you are more than welcome to join us. We are located in the parking lot just above the scoreboard end of the field. We usually get going around 10:00 a.m., though a few of us are there much earlier.

Bring a culinary delight to share if you like. Since we are playing Auggie Tech, hip hop/rap music is more than welcome. ;)

JR: Thanks for getting this started and continuing it.

Umm...

Last I checked, most Johnnie fans were lamenting how disappointed we are in the Jays this year.  We aren't at all bragging about the success of SJU, as most of us quite frankly are frustrated.  Keeping it in perspective, whereas we are contemplating the quickest way to ease the pain of the worst SJU football season in a decade, GAC and Carleton are enjoying the ride.  It is nice to have that on our side-- but our real worry is that this "temporary slump" for SJU could turn into the "great depression", and we could fall into {gasp} Tommie territory...
By the way, there is at least one scenario that there could be a six-way tie for the MIAC crown-- with UST taking the automatic bid.  Take a look at johnniefootball.com today to find out more.

As much as a lot of us are enjoying the Johnnies being down this year.  I don't think anyone really believes that they will fall into tommie territory.

You must have missed all of the banter of about 10 pages ago, PRF07.   While we do still support our team, I don't think you'll find too many who, this year at least, engage in the sort of conversation you described above.  It only takes a few bad seasons to get to PLU and St. Thomas territory and we do not want that for SJU.

Are the Oles sending yet another person on to coach in the NFL?  Their sign stealing prof has resigned and Belichick could probably use his help.    ;)    :D

I'm thinking TWS is teaching chemistry and TWS keeps forgetting to turn on the fume hoood fan.

The only remotely political thing I'll post is this favorite saying of an Aussie friend of mine:

"The problem with elections is that no matter who you vote for, the government still gets in."

A article from the Strib regarding multiple conference champs, doesn't say all that much though:

esq has a pretty good post (as per usual) over at johnniefootball.com.  It's a good read.  To summarize the bottom line: the Jays better hope for a Cobber loss if they want to see the playoffs.  So fire up that bandwagon.  It's looking at extra duty.
