We've got all week to bullsh.......talk about this. I'm tired. Just got back from Green Bay and an awful football game.

Flash you must be mistaken...from what I saw and heard it was a GREAT DAY TO BE IN  GREEN BAY!!!!!!

And hopefully it will be a great day to be in Whitewater, Wi on Saturday...

Anyone besides me feel the NCAA messed up by giving Monmouth a home game and putting them against Aurora?  First of all, (from what I could find) the two conferences are a combined 1-16 since 99 in the playoffs(the lone win by St. Norbert over Simpson in 2OT) best showing for an IBC or NATHC winner is a 4 point loss at Thomas More...

Should have re-aligned the bracket and given UWSP a home game against Aurora because the WIAC is a much better conference than the MWC, Wartburg at Whitewater and SJU at Monmouth...the Scots went 10-0 and deserve a home game, but they are not better than either of the WIAC schools...

Just one man's opinion

Oh no, VOJ are you a Packer fan?

Duff, no good excuses for not coming down, you could always ride that dog. Your assumption in the PM is correct.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

The St. John's Johnnies from St. Paul. ??? >:(

The NCAA info always says that. If I had been in the studio like years past we could've caught that. I'll take it up with the source and see if they can eliminate that error in the future. :(

Geez Louise!!!  I know the guru only had about three minutes per bracket, but if he couldn't find any love for the Johnnies, at least he could have corrected the geographical faux pas.

It occurred to me but I had to get the proper pronunciation of Willamette in there a couple of times -- that was my top priority.

Incredible game on Saturday at Laird Stadium.

I do not think there was any question that these were the two best teams in the conference matching up.  The Johnnie D was as good as advertised.  Seeing that stadium packed like it was in something I never would have thought to see when attending games these last four years.

Could not believe it when a St. Johns student started screaming profanities directly in the face of one of my family members (who was holding my 3 year old god daughter) after St. Johns scored.  Then proceeded to ask said family member while holding little girl if he wanted to fight "because Carleton sucks and the Johnnies rule"    Also the people screaming 26-0 running up and down the track was ridiculous, but it is definitely a sign that Carleton is now recognized as a true threat and not a door mat any longer.  I wouldn't expect anything less from the student Johnnie faithful.  Always a few bad eggs that have to ruin it for everyone.  Can't make this generalizatoin of all things Johnnie, but acts like this make it tough not to have a sour taste in your mouth.

Then it must have been OK for the large group of "Cheerboys" to run all the way around the track  behind the Johnnies bench after the Carleton TD. You must have missed that. Oh, I am sure all they were doing was shouting words of encouragement to the players. I guess I we should thank them for the kind words about not giving up. As was obvious they did not give up.
Thanks Cheerboys! 26-0 and counting.

It was a good game and as the saying goes "a shame someone had to loose." Carleton has a lot to be proud of.

I was just thinking....Did the "Cheerboys" even get their lap finished before SJU scored the winning touchdown???  It really gave me a chuckle to think they may have just been finishing their lap as the Johnnies scored!!!   ;D

I realized that when I heard Pat say Will AM et, that I had been putting the emPHAsis on the wrong SylLABle. Isn't it named after a river, and is the river pronounced the same cockamamie way? (See how I got that word in there Beavis?)
