Has to be #13. ;)

The johnnies colors are cardinal and blue.  I have never seen a photo of a johnnie uniform with any blue on it.  Is there?  If not, why?
When I was there, the cardinal & blue home football uniforms were butt ugly (well maybe not as bad as Oregon). If memory serves me right, the team pictures were taken with the white traveling jerseys.  :P

My oldest boy attended the Jesuit high school in San Francsico, whose colors are red and royal blue and they have the same problem.  The colors just don't go well together.  For reasons we can appreciate, their uniforms are predominantly, if not exclusively, red and white.

Edit: And, as you can see from the picture below, to the extent that they do use blue, it's a mistake.  (The NE Patriots had the same problem until they darkened the blue.)

And they only seem to get worse... Have you seen the latest that they unveiled on the 15th? I have yet to master posting pictures

And yes Virginia, those are "feathers" on their shoulders! :-[

How's this Bennie?

Show off!! You with all those computer skills!! ;) +K

You almost can't tell from that picture, but the "feathers" are silver and the numbers are gold. Maybe the "diamond plate" uniforms (or as I refer to them, the "road kill" uniforms) weren't that bad... :-\

Yep, a picture really is worth a thousand words! ;)

D O.C.

Injury free game in Perkins Stadium.....
my father played for Oregon before and after The War. He would get so angry seeing the Knightwear and would  turn off the TV if the uniforms had black as the main color.

FYI

on Saturday!

Free hot dogs, beans, soda and beer will be available in the Coulthart Family Pavilion, just outside the stadium gates from 10:30 to 11:45 Saturday. The special tailgate, while supplies last, is provided courtesy of Chartwell's, DLK Enterprises and UW-Whitewater intercollegiate athletics.

Hard to beat that.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

They're not THAT bad. But they are kind of odd.

At least they're not bright yellow -- they've worn bright yellow! :D

Clearly you've not attended the Stiftungsfestivities, flash.  We beat that at every Johnnie game.  Talk about lowering your expectations.  I'll see if I can get you an autographed picture of Gerry Brown.

I think #13 has to wait until next year, snoop.  But next year I wouldn't be surprised ...  Remember, 13 is only unlucky for those who look up and see it coming their way.

When I was there, the Johnnie away uniforms for the basketball and hockey teams were powder blue and they were much, much nicer than the red ones they have now.  They were sharp and I wish they'd go back to them.   The hockey sweaters had a monk with skates and a hockey stick that was designed by Denny Hartman, the former hockey coach.  They were pretty sweet.

Wow -- powder blue tux - that's a blast from the past.  Bluenote, you looked younger to me! ;D
