As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

snoop dawg

In first grade, Bernice Phillips sat in front of me and peed all over my shoes, she was a real nerdy looking girl back then and through high school.  I saw her at out 20th class reunion and she was an absolute knock out, I asked her what she did and her reply was, " exotic dancer".  I also peed on her shoes.

How much did she charge for that?

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Congratulations to UMD on their DII National Championship.

Or, maybe Blago the psychopath was ticked that Obama or his people had not come to him.

Or, maybe they did come to Blago....... as reported on http://hotair.com/archives/2008/12/12/contact-emanuel-spoke-with-blago-on-multiple-occasions-about-senate-seat/

I'd like to wait and see what Powerline, Michelle Malkin or Little Green Footballs says about this before making an informed opinion about the situation.

The Duluth victory's a good accomplishment, though I think it sort of shows that D2 has fallen a bit with all the defections to D1.

I'm actually surprised that there is any sifference of opinion over the Illinois debacle.  This is a perfect time to repeat again my friend's addage: the problem with elections is that no matter who you vote for the government still gets in.

With any luck the whole corrupt crew in Chicago will be busted.  Out of curiosity, do you think these guys could have RICO used againsts them?  Busted for a statewide criminal conspiracy?  Jindal is taking down the Louisiana corruption, with luck Ted Stevens will flip and lead to a clean-up in Alaska, and we may see the Chicago machine get taken down.  Regardless of party, you have to be enthusiastic about the prospects of the taxpayer getting cleaner service for their money.

Oz,
+K for making me laugh on a Saturday morning!  :D

We haven't really started the Merry Christmases yet, but I wanted to get mine in early just in case I neglect this later.

So, Merry Christmas to all: Johnnies, MIACers, passers through, and even Tommies.

And a little Christmas quiz.  Name this Christmas movie:

"Sons a Bitches!!! Bumpeses!!!"

Speaking of old films, "It's a Wonderful Life" was on tv last evening. Always love watching that movie from 1946 with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.

Congrats to Whitewater on the win yesterday and hopefully you can defend your title this coming Saturday in Salem. Speaking of the DIII championship, is there going to be a gathering in the Twin Cities area for us DIII fans to watch the game and enjoy some adult beverages?

57Johnnie

Just got back from a trip to attend the celebration of the life of another 57 Johnnie, a good man and devoted member of the JOHNNIE Faithful.
RIP 57Jerry.

Yeah, nice to see a national title for a former MIAC team ... and I'm glad that Jim Malosky was around to see it. He coached 180 degrees from JG but was a class act.

sfury,
you're spot on, i think. even so, it's surprising to see the winner come out of the NSIC, which is miles below what the old NCC was. But after watching UMD Saturday, they were certainly the better team against an established d2 power..
