This newspaper photo showing a pregnant woman smoking a heater has a caption that reads "Mellissa Williamson worries about the effect on her unborn child from the sound of the jackhammers."  :P

She had her baby.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

There is lots of snow to be found in LA, and no doubt she found some of it.  Wreaks havoc on the sinuses, too.

tmert...not that kind of snow....she wasn't lying, she emailed pictures and it was a white out at her house.  She even got a picture of the snow plow.  Now thats not something you see everyday here.

Mount Union should be forced up to DII. Whitewater as well. I'm sick of these two in the finals.

How did SJU beat them all those years ago? This team is unstoppable at this level.

Yes, just like the Obama-nation will force me to pay higher taxes.

Congratulations to the Warhawks for a heck of a game.  Shoulda been your's today.

I'm looking forward to great matchups next season with the WIAC in season and post season.

Let the training begin.

I thought WW made MU look human after the first Qtr. I don't know if MU just stopped taking shots because they were ahead or if WW actually kept safeties over the top and stopped coming down hill so hard on PA. Either way, I was flipping back and forth between ESPN2 and ESPN and I thougth both d3 teams executed better than the D1 teams on ESPN. These 2 teams are really well coached and they have great players. I wouldn't be suprised if its the same 2 teams in the Stagg next year.

Actually, the best thing for d3 might be to have the NCAA rig it so these 2 teams can't meet in the Stagg, have them meet in the semis so it appears there is some paridy.

No way ... the best two teams should be in the last game.  Otherwise, we have a big pile of BCS to clean up!
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Found this:

QuoteReferee Pat Whalen and his Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football crew of Tom Tucker, Dan Pelletier, Dave Whittman, Scott Mitchell, Bill Nelson and Bill Merritt will officiate Saturday's NCAA Division III national championship Alonzo Stagg Bowl game between Wisconsin-Whitewater and Mount Union in Salem, Va.

Any comments from the MIAC board on these fine gentlemen?

Ah......yah.....this was a group that was overmatched by the opportunity to officiate in the Stagg Bowl.  They are a marginal (at best) crew in the MIAC.  Today they were out of position, did not run the clock well and made some phantom calls.  Not a performance to be remembered positively for.

That's a worn out and tired argument.  MUC abides by the D3 regulations, MUC plays in D3.
