I had a somewhat similar experience once.  Our neighbors had gone on vacation and asked me to look after their home.  One Saturday morning I wake up, look outside and there is a strange bicycle laying in their driveway.  So I check out it and discover that the back door has been kicked in and is wide open.  I go inside and discover a naked young male sleeping on their living room couch.  Not wanting to confront him myself I left and called the police.  They came and arrested him.  It turned out it was just some college kid who had been so drunk that he'd broken into our neighbor's house thinking it was his apartment.  I don't know how you do that.  I've never been that intoxicated.  But that was his story.

This is indeed sad. A Tommie coach comes on MIACPP, calling out the posters, and Oz and myself are the only ones to even mention anything about it. I'm afraid I'm going to have to report this to TDT. What is the world coming to?
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Another non-football comment/question.

I am looking at a fishing/relaxation week in MN later this summer. Since my wife doesn't want much drive time this yr, I have narrowed my search to approx the St Cloud area & south. I have looked into the Clearwater Lake area. Anyone have any knowledge of the area, or other suggstions? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

On a football note: GO Knights!!

Clearwater is one of the best fishing lakes in the area, and there are other lakes close by if you want to hop around. A very nice restaurant on the lake, and good golf courses are close, too.

Thanks fins!!! My wife likes the shorter drive(We have been to Kabetogama a few times & two years ago we were @ Cass Lake). The proximity to activities other than fishing(one of my three sons isn't into fishing) is a plus also. I suppose if we do visit the area, I should probably make the short trip to SJU. I have talked to my boys about the nice experience (other than a loss) I had when the Warts played @ SJU & about the book "The Sweet Season" (xmas gift a few yrs back). They thought it sounded like a neat place to watch a game. In case that doesn't come into play in the near future, may just have to settle for a quick tour.

You'll have a heck of a lot more luck catching fish in Clearwater than you ever did at Kabetogama.

Even Duffman can't find fish in Kabetogama.  ;)

Let me know when you're coming and I can tell you what they're hittin' on (after I call Duff). Be sure to treat your boys to a visit to SJU and stop in at the info desk and have Fins IV sell you a loaf of Johnnie Bread. There's nothing like a toasted slice of fresh Johnnie Bread with peanut butter at the cabin. (when you're not eating fish, that is)
+k to all to celebrate the weekend, already off to a good start with someone dropping off a case of Hamm's for me last night for lending them my portable bar for their grad party, my last child's HS grad party (Fins IV) tomorrow, and a totally unexpected $500 check from someone out of state for whom a small favor was done years ago. WOOHOO!

DuffMan

Fins, I am heading to Sartell tomorrow for my cousin's grad party.  Maybe I should stop by Fins IV's party, too ;)

I'll have the boat in tow.  Gonna see if I can get my dad on some fish for Father's Day... ;D

You know you're always welcome at the Fins Mansion, Duffman. We'll only be there until 2 however, as tomorrow's party is at the Petitioner's residence in Bloomington. Good luck with fishing. It's been a weird year around here, weather/fishing-wise. Some think the panfish still haven't spawned on some lakes, and may not this year.

Again, as we're dealing with a Tommie (and a defensive coach at that, so extra slow typing is required for him to keep up), pictures folks:

You know, I have not seen much for panfish in the shallows at our cabin (near Spicer).  Kind of weird.  I have been hammering the bass the past few weekends, though.  Hope that continues on Sunday.

Vote for the '03 Johnnies as Minnesota's best college football team ever.   ;D

Good find and votes made.  But Bruce Smith and Carl Eller - yet no Alan Page?  ???  Were either of those guys NFL MVP? ??? (Okay, no real complaint about Eller, but c'mon ...)
