Of course, nobody would believe me if I said I wouldn't drink Summit Extra Pale Ale if it was the last beer on earth. But it would, truly, have to be the last beer on earth.

Snoopdawg agrees.  A bit o' fruit can assist the second last beer.

Low and behold, I spotted some Leinie's Oktoberfest at the store today.  I'm on #3.  I was gonna mow the lawn, but that will wait.  Mmm, mmm, mmm!

Duff has redeemed himself, as if that really needed to be done. I am not a fan of the "fruit" beer, no matter who brews them. The Red, as I said is one of my faves along with Yuengling Lager, which has also been mentioned. Try the Classic Amber. Very full bodied and hoppy. Very similar to Budweiser American Ale if you have tried that.

I liked Billy Beer.  I agree with the Yeungling lager, one of my favorite beers of all time.  Can never go wrong with a yeung.

Also have developed a taste for Smithwick...or schmittics is how it is phonetically spoken I believe...

You must have learned that from a German.  No Sch sound - just Smit-iks, or even SmiΘ-iks.

And if you like what you get in a bottle here, you'll absolutely love what they pour from a tap in Ireland. ;)

I have only had the tap variety...I need to find it in bottles here, working on that today in fact...

Come on Fins...you know you're out of beer when you are out of Schlitz, at least you didn't take a shot at PBR, a product to be proud of...

Duff, what is your opinion of Sam Adams various beers?  I like SA Light, White Ale and the Summer Ale...

I'm a fan of most Sam Adams I have tried.  Red Hook is one of my favorite brewers.  Surly also makes some great beers.  Surly Furious is just awesome!

Duff, I agree wholeheartly with you on this one. Only recently have I had the pleasure of tasting this beer. Tried one when I was in St. Paul. Bought some to bring home and then found out the local Zorbaz has it on tap!!! What are their other beers like?
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

I've also had their Bender, Cynic, and Coffee Bender.  I like the Bender.  Cynic isn't bad.  I don't like the Coffee Bender, but then again, I don't like coffee.  I think it would be great for a coffee lover.

I reccomend the Surly tour.  It's awesome if you like free beer.  On the plus side for me, it's about 2 miles from our house :)
