57- will you be in your regular seat for the game? I hope you don't need the popcorn or whatever may have replaced it last year. :)
ZIP,
I will be in my regular reserved seat. I hold my breath every year for the first game until my Mac picks up the game. The website has changed somewhat and I'm not much of a computer nerd.  :(  I checked my Redenbacher's and noticed the it had an expiration date of 12/2008 so will start fresh. Papa Murphy's was used to much better effect last year.
Haven't heard where bennie will be yet.
Maybe she will concentrate on the Ducks this year since they got those new 'spiffy' unis.  ;D

You guys going to start a petition about getting this as a collegiate sport in the MIAC???

(maybe it already is...)  ;)
wrong bethel, but I'm sure the MIAC would field several national title contenders

No, I realized it was the NAIA Bethel (Tenn) not the DIII Bethel.

I was making weekend plans with a friend and realized that I need to start keeping Saturday mornings/early afternoons free! What a exciting thought! I will be here! ;D

The Ducks play on Thursday night. Thank God for the long weekend to allow my vision to recover! 8)

Did you notice the NAIA sign in the top left corner? "Champions of Character" I hope they didn't pay anyone to come up with that slogan. :P

They're probably taking into account the "moral victories" against DIII.  ;)

"This year's offense seems to have a lot more swagger than we did last year," Vanderheyden said.
Without playing a game! I hope to heck he is right, maybe Jimmy has more swagger also. :)

It'd be tough to have any less swagger than last year  :-X

Funny how OC took no responsibility for the offensive ineptitude of last year. Kinda threw the players under the bus there, which is puzzling. Granted there were issues offensively, but I can't believe that one year things not coming together is because of a drop in talent level. The whole QB thing, the curious blocking schemes and play calling, all lay at the feet of the offensive coaching staff.
Hope the approach changes this year.

Twins up 2-0 going into the 9th and in comes the closer.

He gives up 4 and Twins lose 4-2.  :P

What's up with Nathan lately?  ???

Maybe he's been fooling people by using the Whizzinator.

Finally a sport I could compete in at the DIII level...I think I might have a little eligibility left

I am thinking he has a tired arm...and saving 35 of 40 is still a pretty good number 88%...but blown saves are HUGE this time of year...hopefully this won't become a pattern.

It could also have been the way the story was written.

Bennie with an original slam like we haven't seen around these parts in a while.  Very nice.

Well said, Oz.   8)
