What a great game.  Congratulations to the players on both offense and defense.  The offense played great all day and the defense was huge in the second half.

The Cobbers played a great first half and could feel cheated.  I wish you luck in the remaining year and particularly against the Tommies and Royals.

I am listening to the South Dakota - Drake game where some player has major league ralphed on the field and an official time out is in place for clean - up.  :D

USD's Head Coach is Ed Meierkort, Stout coach for many years.

BDB;

I love that psycho cat in your signature.  It's like my kids after watching 30 minutes of Yo! Gabba! Gabba!

I see Todd Strop landed at USD as well.  And Jesse Nelson, Concordia QB the last 2 years, is a graduate assistant coach.

<-- Oz, did you know Lisa,  of "Deal or No Deal" fame (holds case #3  ;) ) is a former Miss Australia?

Edit: I stuck her up there about 3 years ago when that show was a summer hit. At Stiffyfest, Piper Insider asked me if that was my wife.  ;D
I took her down for a day or 2 at one point and took some crap for it, so she's been back ever since. I guess we are stuck with each other.  :D

Time for the Oles to step up and show how overrated the Tommies really are.

After talking with some players and coaches this week I can say that Olaf is quietly confident. They have a solid game plan and practiced well this week.  Prediction:  St. Olaf 27  St. Thomas 14

Well, that bit you in the ass  ::)

Good golly.  Queenslanders may not be able to spell beer, but that sun and surf sure does something for the eye-candy.

Twins win again. If only Slowey, Krede, Boof, Neshek and Morneau were healthy.  :P

Good job on the score, but it looks like you had the teams backwards. I guess that means one of the teams was "Ole-rated"?  Tough break, losing Clark-- although it had no bearing on the outcome. Hope he's not out all season. The fake FGA made me think Meidt was back at the helm.

I am never one to make excuses for a loss at all, the Oles screwed up big time when it counted.  But are you REALLY trying to say that losing the most dynamic RB in the conference in the 1st quarter had NO impact on the outcome of the game?

Wartman didnt leave the game. He even had two 4th quarter TDs   ;D

But Foss did a great job for Olaf. I thought Oles played well, just got wore down.
