Okay I have posted about 4 times in the last week and my Karma has fallen about 10 points.  What gives??

You definitely don't use first-person when you are paraphrasing the guy. Maybe that's my 12 years at a national publication talking but I'm pretty sure that should be covered in "a journalism class."

Fine.  I'll defer all future grammar questions to the King and stick to the drugs I'm working on.

Wow your McMinnville news paper sounds like ****. I didnt know that saying "All day baby, All day" is trash talking that would make a news paper write about it!  I dont know what football is like over in Oregon but up here in the Midwest guys say stuff a little worse than that and it goes unnoticed.  Maybe some people are a little bit on the babish side of things. I know i wouldnt start crying about that.  Oh and by the way. I'm pretty sure that why we didnt get a personal foul for that and the next play that we had the ball your team did.  Maybe we should have taken offense to that. Or the late hits on our QB.  I know that if we would have hit your QB after he had thrown the ball we would have gotten shot!  So dont even go there.  You can quote this in your McMinnville news paper,  "Grow up and stop complaining about your so called superstar QB who wont play a down in the NFL."

Its obvious to me that you are a punk.  As for the Butcher--you aren't good enough to carry his jock strap .

M&G-Are you geared up for your trip up to Alaska over X-mas break?  Sounds like a good time.  Long time no post for ya, must be working hard at the school.  I'll catch you later.

GHC--Is there a chance that Elliot would play from Linfield to the NFL?  I think he might have to prove himself in the Arena League or Canadian League first since he is at a D-III school.  Maybe a NFL team will give him a chance.  That's all I got.

MR-other than porta, who does BU have for offensive weapons?  I know the defense can be good with the fergus bros in the secondary. (forgot the names).  Will there be any surprise players next fall?

Johnnie Red

After the game in Whitewater last Saturday, I was talking to the Steffensmeiers' mother. She indicated another son who is attending college at Truman in Missouri will be transferring to SJU. This other son was at the game and looks like he could be a player.

Purchased tickets yesterday for the Capital1 Bowl in Orlando on January 2 so my son and I can see the Badgers. While it won't be the Stagg Bowl, at least the red and white colors will be on display. Wonder if they tailgate in Orlando.

Touchdown Tommy

Johnnie Red,

Are u sure you weren't talking to the SCHUMACHERs mother?  I graduated with John '04 and Luke was an OG this year.  Younger son Mike who played on back to back state championship teams at Totino Grace is the player transferring whom I believe you are referring to.  They were at the tailgate party for quite a while and mentioned that Mike would be going to SJU like his two older bros.  He will be a defensive stalwart for the coming years!!! ;D

FYI: There is always a tailgate party if the Stiftungsfest makes the trip to Florida.  I will put it on the calendar!!

Bus Driver, my mistake. You are correct, sir! :) Thanks for setting the record straight.

And who did I just get off the phone with?? Buck Rock`n Roll Zumhofe, a pro wrestler who I wrestled with in high school. He is now into "novelty" wrestling. He has as part of his crew two midgets, his daughter and another woman and a giant (over 7 feet tall). They are booked every weekend through January here in Minnesota. Sounds like something we could line up for the Stiftungsfestivities next fall in Collegeville. Might also be a potential employment opportunity for Bethel grads.

JR--That is awesome.  If you get that act for a pregame or halftime show in collegeville I am there.  If the wrestler (dressed as a Johnnie) beats the midgets in the match, don't have the midgets dress up as St. Thomas students because they don't know how to beat a Johnnie.  I would rather have a surprise match of not knowing the outcome.

Retired Old Rat

JR,

Could you tell if Buck had an 80's boom box on his shoulder?
