I posted here after the Bethel toe beating that the fans at Clemens Stadium did an admirable job getting off the field to let the game play out. You do not see that too much. Minimum delay.

Some quick thoughts about last Saturday:

Best new thing at the tailgate: Faunch's pulled pork. Wish I had some of that right now.

Worst new thing: Vikings cheerleaders. WTF?

Classless act - Home team: TDT filching on his bet, plus giving it away to a Tommie. WTF?

Classless act - Visitors: tie between the 6 or so USTD playas who made a point to walk through our tailgate crowd just to plow through (how 'bout an "excuse me" at least?) and the entire Tommie squad jumping on the SJU logo at mid-field pre-game. If you fellas wanna do your gay dance, do it on your sideline.

Best dressed fan in men's clothing: LBean again, duh.

Best dressed fan in women's clothing: TDT in his mom's coat.

Best headgear at the game: My new Hawks cap, all the way from Australia. Thanks Oz!

Best thing to happen to a guy not at the game: BDB's award at Stout. I hope he does visit soon. We're running out of cups.

1. I saw the UST players in warm-up gear casually walking through a parking lot before the game. They "plowed" nobody and seemed to enjoy the atmosphere.

2. You know what's "gay?" Using "gay" as a negative adjective. Your homophobia should be more understated.

Funny how all this venom comes out after the game...as for the stomping on the logo, we have our sideline guys the "Mayor" or the Wolfman do the same type of thing when we are on the road...hey JR...weren't the cheerleaders supposed to be escorted to the press box?  Next year we need to get a member of the bikini ice fishing team to the booth..., OZ if you had a cheerleader on your arm, I almost guarantee that you would have gotten in, next time I will make sure you have the secret password or knock or whatever

I took my beatings on here long before the site was upgraded. KR, Finsleft, JR, Johnnie ESQ, et al...used to verbally assault me daily (You may have been serving your suspension at the time). As the lone Tommie that doesn't have to ever act impartial (MiacManiac) it is my duty to try and make someone feel awkward whenever an oppotunity  presents itself. I have never, I REPEAT NEVER, been one who has been deemed PC. (I too, have adorned a cotton tee implying SJU's love of sodomy)

Just thought people would appreciate the subtle irony of a Tommie calling out someone using the term "gay" negatively. Bennie caught it, though I think it may have been out of the fact that she was legitimately pissed.

That being said, I'm no wet behind the ears law school idealist who's a know it all. I've been cynical way too long for that.
