I'm off to go spend time with my wife and kids. Since that means I won't have time to babysit this board, I'm locking it. That's what you can come to expect if you want me to spend less time online.

Kiltedrat--calm down a bit would ya?  Pat does a lot for this site, so you have something to do other than work 8 hrs a day.  Plus I am sure Pat isn't the only one that is taking your karma I am sure others are smiting you, most likely those cats.  They are sneaky karma snatchers.  Pat also brought up a good point, if you don't act like a child he won't call you his son.  Even though reading the board for the past 2 pages has been quite comical.  Thanks for the laugh.

Please,  forgive me for stepping in.  I am surprised to see such a dog fight over here.  I know the passions run high on this board  as our passions for the game and our teams get blown wide open here. 

I'm still trying to determine how the Karma game works. As you can see I'm not doing too well so far.   In any case if we could all just relax a bit and be a little kinder to each other instead of blowing up and giving our power away to anyone who criticizes our chastises us by raising the anger level wouldn't we all be better off? 

When I was as young as many of you guys you could not find an angrier person than me. I have used up all the anger one is allotted during a lifetime so am forced to find other more constructive means of expression when my initial response is anger.  That feels a lot better.

We talk about sportsmanship on the field and respecting each other. Don't want to sound schmaltzy but aren't we all better off to apply the concept of good sportsmanship and mutual respect on this board as well? After all aren't we here to have fun, discuss football and get to know other fans?  How can we be having fun if we're at each others throats and not being respectful of each other?

Yea, I had a buddy in HS who was a big track star, had recruits from all over the nation coming to see him, got a 12 on his ACT, ended up goin go Mankato State for 1 yr  and then lost scholarships because of grades. I'm pretty sure most of the MIAC schools are close, except maybe for Mac, but then again they don't wanna play football with us anymore.

No, I am not psycho Dusty.  Also, pretty sure you need to score at least a 21 on the ACT or above 900 on the SAT to be considered at Cord and I am sure that SJU is the same.  Both schools are academically challenging.  I would have to admit the best school in the miac for education would be Carelton.  See they get smart kids, just no athletes.
