I don't think I could handle the weather there now.

I don't know Coco, it is not that much colder there than it is here right now! ;) I had to break out the ice scrapper this morning (which I brought with me when I moved out from Minnesota)! At least it is not raining! ;D

Yep, Spam is the state meat of Hawaii. I grew up on the stuff. It's at all the fast food places, and on restaurant menus.

At the Spam museum, there is a trivia quiz, and one of the questions asks which state eats the most Spam per capita. I got that one right!

DenS, my high school class is having our next reunion in Las Vegas in May.
All the locals will probably fight over the Spam machines.

fins,

The broadcast would obviously take place live from the Pace Arrow up on the hill.  Hamms in one hand, microphone in the other, and OAS (as production assistant bich) on becking call for when we want some food at halftime.

I was hoping for a headset so my non-Hamm's hand could hold the schnapps.

While finsleft will take the Pace Arrow, if anyone else is bored at work today perhaps you could help guide TT home from the bar:

Come on, bennie. Did you lose your Minnesota tough skin? We never get below 0° here, and below 20° is rare.

It's always toasty warm inside the finsleft ice palace. 8 holes and 4 bunks, TV and DVD for your comfort. Spam is served along with Hamm's on a regular basis.  About 2-3 more inches of ice and that baby will be out there.
You're all invited (not all at once, though)

Bus- and you thought the Pace Arrow was sweet!

I have totally lost my Minnesota tough skin!! It must be too much Oregon wine/micro brews and not enough Hamms! ;D ;)

Bennie,

But while you're worrying about scraping a little ice off the windshield and some rain, your Midwest buddies are having to shovel snow off their driveways just to get to work in the morning.

Mrs. Coco and I couldn't say enough for the Minnesota hospitality, however.  We spent part of the time with Nurse Goodbody (as she's known on the NWC board), who is familiar to many of the Johnnie fans as well.
Minneapolis is a great city.

Coco, you didn't visit SJU while you were in the area?? I'm quite surprised that you did not pay your respects to the great Gagliardi as you were passing through SJU Country. You could have stopped and picked up some of that famous burger Johnnie Red is always peddeling....not that it would compare to Spam, of course...  ;)

Interesting move by Brann. Seems kind of like a lateral move to me. Any speculation as to why he would be making such a move?

Well Miac fans.  Central just came out with its schedule for next year.  What kind of team is St. Thomas.  I know they aren't the Johnnies or Cobbers but I think from what I gleened from the board here they are a good team is that correct.  We open the season in St. Paul next year.  I had a great time last year visiting relatives in the cities and look forward to getting back there this next fall.

DutchFan1,

We'd hoped to see SJU, but didn't get up there, and Coach Gagliardi wouldn't know us from the nearest bum in the street anyway.

What am I talking about? I am the nearest bum in the street.

Does anyone know if Brann has ties to the area?
That could be a reason for leaving.
