Ok... crickets on the board.  Anyway...

I'm loath to say anything and if it all goes to **** after my post you can curse me forever, but... How about them Twinkies?

As long as their pitching holds up & they keep scoring runs and playing solid defense, they'll be o.k.- let the chips fall where they may.- (he says as reading from the baseball cliché book)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I didn't realize the Twinkies had an Aussie on their roster.  Who is Phillips and who does he play for?

Rockie's catcher Miguel Oliva passes kidney stone 'during game' and gets a hit the next inning!

I felt very uncomfortable watching that.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Those guys looked like contractors to me.  You could tell by dainty finishing on their telephone outfits.

More seriously, are you back in the States?

Hopefully a few of you got to read the article in the Star Tribune on Sunday, April 25 about St. John's and its pair campus, the College of St. Benedict, paying half of the airfare for potential students who are accepted and from out of state to stop by Collegeville. So far this year, about 200 students have taken the schools up on the offer.

Last Thursday I went to the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. Very impressive. It was also nice to see the St. John's Bible on display as part of the exhibit.

Whether it is a student flying in from Colorado or the scrolls and the SJU Bible, all roads lead to Collegeville!!!!! ;D

No,  but I do have my little aussie (bomber fan) buddy to keep me company.  He says that the hawks are doo doo.

How much lower can they sink in DC?  I don't think even Tommies would sink this low...
