thank god I'm no longer in the military.

Those guys looked like contractors to me.  You could tell by dainty finishing on their telephone outfits.

More seriously, are you back in the States?

No,  but I do have my little aussie (bomber fan) buddy to keep me company.  He says that the hawks are doo doo.

You want to really rile him up?  Tell him that Boonie can't drink for being as soft Bangladeshi opener.

From a sports facts site:

David Boon is a legendary Australian Cricketer, but also a legend for his drinking exploits.

On a flight between London and Sydney for the 1989 Ashes series, Boonie, known as "the keg on legs", set the record for most beer consumed on the flight - 52 cans of full strength beer.

This record will, most likely, never be broken, as I'm pretty sure it's illegal to serve you that many tinnies nowadays.

The Stout Ale House is where all of the BlueDevil Booster Club meetings are held.

I believe the patrons were there watching the Bucks playoff game.  :D

"A Fairly Good Place For Quite Some Time" - This is the business motto of the place where we'll be going on Sunday after the SJU graduation ceremonies.  Hard to resist, don't you think?  ::)

Tmerts, if you haven't been to Fisher's before, you're in for a real treat. I've never been there on a Sunday before, but on summer Friday nights, it can't be beat. Great walleye special and it's a bottle club so you bring your jug and buy "set-ups." Started by an old pal of my grandpa's, George "Showboat" Fisher who had a .335 lifetime major league batting average and played in the 1930 World Series for the St. Louis Cardinals. The place was sold a few years ago by the Fisher family to a group of investors including Garrison Keillor, some of the Petters family and other locals including one of my SJU classmates.

Thanks.  I love the reader's warning not to approach Garrison Keillor.

We're gonna fly in on Fridays before home games this year, so we'll make sure to stop in at Fisher's on a Friday night in the fall.

Wow you guys are amazing fans. Your kid's graduating on Sunday, but you're still planning on flying back to Minnesota to watch the games!  ;D

Let's meet up at Fisher's then.

Reminds me of the old joke:
What's the difference between beer nuts and deer nuts?
Beer nuts are $1.29 and deer nuts are always under a buck!
