You need to check out a new poster over on the Midwest Conference board.  "blu thru n thru" is the father of a QB from Texas who will be a freshman at Illinois College; he showed up on the MWC board about a week ago.  Well, not since Snoop stirred up the SCIAC board have I seen someone hit a board like that (what is it with the fathers of quarterbacks?)  Lots of good old fashioned smack talk.  (I did say he was from Texas, didn't I?)  Or weren't you aware that the Blueboys would be playing in the D3 championship game in the next few years?  Good fun.  Anyway, he just found out the enrollment of UWW and is trying to deal with the disparities that presents.  This is going to be fun.

Speaking of Snoop, where did his kid end up playing?
Anyone know?
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Looks like he went to Pierce College (JuCo) and will be at Mount Union this season!?!?

Pat Coleman

His dad had told us he was invited to come to East Carolina. Not sure if that panned out.

Wrong direction, Pat - It's West Carolina - a 1AA school.  One of young Mr. Wabby's assistant coaches from high school took an assistant's job with WCU in the spring and apparently talked him into joining him there.  So Snoop has gone in search of a 1AA message board. 8-)  Unfortunately for the young man, since he threw in his lot with them, they've also brought in a transfer QB from South Carolina, so playing time may not be as plentiful as it appeared at one time.

Sorry, thanks, that makes MUCH more sense. Or much less nonsense.

Wonder why MUC is listed on Pierce's website?  Were the Raiders wooing Wabby, as well?

(How's that for alliteration?)

Poaching on this board for a change. Just wondering if there are any tommies here? Or is this a Johnnie exclusive board?  ;D

We are all getting a little anxious for this season to begin.

I'm kind of interested to see his son's "DI arm" in action. who knows, maybe his son is talented.

(Minneapolis) City Council could open doors for brewers

Former SJU O-Lineman Jim Diley appears in this article as a co-founder of Fulton Beer.  Several former SJU footballers are involved.  I have yet to sample any of it.

He was considering MUC (UMU) before WCU came in and offered him a scholly and chance to start this year.  Snoop and his kid visited Alliance this spring before he made his decision.

He was looking at MUC but he also visited Dubuque I believe; I don't think MUC was his sole, or even necessarily his best, option in D3.

Perhaps an appearance at the Stiftungfestivities this year from Mr. Diley & crew?  8-)

Hmm, I was unaware that Mount Union has officially switched from Mount Union College to the University of Mount Union (effective 8/01/2010).  I like the look (and sound) of MUC over UMU, though.

Agreed: I would say that it was vice versa.

Aren't they afraid they will become confused with UMA (Thurman)?
