All those Wisconsinites came over here and remembered they don't like me.  I'm crushed.

Wonderful evening last night at the Stiftungsfest. It was tough to keep up with the demand for the famous burgers. Hairball rocked.

If St Cloud St doesn't drop football this season, could someone, sometime this season give me an update on a young man who went there and just might aid their football program?

I watched him all last year as he led his high school team ( the Walworth(WI) Bigfoot Chiefs, you got to love them if just for their un PC name) to a state title here in Cheeseland. His name is Michael Walker. He's a helluva running back, but also plays DB. He might see some PT as a Frosh.

VOJ, need some help, which Rochester radio station carried the Johnnies last year?

From Frank Rajkowski's blog after talking about Carleton:

"For more information on the Auggies, visit the school's Web site at http://athletics.augsburg.edu/index.aspx?tab=football&path=football"

Tsk tsk Frank.

With the regular season breathing down our necks and a lot of teams holding scrimmages and such this weekend, I was wondering if anyone got a chance to take an early look at any MIAC teams this weekend? I know St. Thomas scrimmaged Martin Luther and some cyber sleuthing told me that Hamline had a so-so outing against a Northwestern team that quite frankly shouldn't stand a chance against legitimate MIAC competition. What about the other schools? Any  optimism around the MIAC or is every team in the league just handing the title to Ray Grant Jr. this season?

Touchdown Tommy

TDT will be scouting Ray Grant Jr and his pals on 9-11 at Noon versus Pacific Lutheran & then heading east to UWEC for the Johnnies game.  Hamline sounds like a juggernaut this season.  I think we should crown the Tommies right now.  They will be undefeated in 2010...

Every time some one types "Ray Grant Jr" the theme from Ghostbusters runs through my head.  I've got my Ray Jr's mixed up.

Back off, man.  I'm a Piper.

Concordia scrimmaged NDSCS in Moorhead.  I wasn't at the game, but it sounds like a preseason type deal where the first team offense and defense played the first half and the second and third teams finished off the scrimmage.  I just read that Dunham had a couple of TD passes.
