Police are warning all men who frequent clubs, parties & local pubs to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink by any woman.
Many females use a date-rape-drug on the market called ' Beer' .
At other times these unfortunate men are swindled out of their life's savings, in a familiar scam known as 'a relationship'. In extreme cases, the female may even be shrewd enough to entrap the unsuspecting male into a longer-term form of servitude and punishment referred to as 'marriage'.
Men are much more susceptible to this scam after Beer is administered and sex is offered by the predatory females.
Please forward this warning to every male you know.
If you fall victim to this ' Beer' scam and the women administering it, there are male support groups where you can discuss the details of your shocking encounter with similarly victimized men.
For the support group nearest you, just look up 'Golf Courses' in the phone book.

If the definition of "caviling" is the same as I remember it from the SAT days, I would say his objections are neither petty nor unnecessary.

This is the closest I could find.

- a trivial and annoying objection.
- the raising of such objections

Well, I learned a new word. What a fella can't learn on Post Patterns, he doesn't need to know.  ;D

Unless it's interupting an ongoing MIAC football discussion, I don't see how telling a joke is petty or unnecessary. It's part of what we do to keep things lively and why this page gets so many views.

So, the MIAC coaches poll is out and the Tommies are picked to finish on top.  The Jays received two votes for the number one spot.  Caruso was one vote, obviously.  Guesses on the second?  My guess is Ramler - it's hard to unlearn a good lesson.

And in TDT season preview at johnniefootball.com, he says that the the Tommies and Royals cleaned up in the recruiting department.  We didn't have the usual recruiting debate in here this year, so anyone got opinions on the names and faces that make TDT's assertion true (or not)?

EDIT:  I didn't mean to speak of you as if you weren't here, TDT.  We must have been typing ours posts at the same time.

That's the rivalry game Buckman used back in '08.  If we don't want to limit the number rivalries we could add BU-SJU, MAC-HAM, MAC-CAR, SJU-CORD, GAC-STO.

Another good article, TDT, with another fine use of the pics.  -k to you.

You'll never see a video like this out of Bethel...

For that fact, I am very thankful. Embarrassing.

Is that video actually supposed to make people want to go there?

Perhaps they're having overcrowding issues and are trying to dissuade people from attending?

Makes me want to go there and I'm 63.
