Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a drunken new year ;D

Maroon&Gold

Merry Christmas to everyone, Happy New Year, and safe travel to all.

RB George Rogers, about the upcoming season:
"I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."

Veek

With Frank's and Fins' karma levels so close they may have to arm wrestle for the championship.  Or maybe we could have a drinking contest.  Oh, nevermind, neither of them would be interested in a drink-a-thon, or should I say drunk-a-thon.
Go Johnnies!!!

I'm so bold, or so drunk to say that I would win in a arm wrestling and a drink a thon all in the same day.  That's how sweet I am....okay, I'm done talking about how sweet I am...honestly, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.  For all the people I've had an opportunity to meet through here at tailgaiting, games, O'haras, drinking contests, etc...I feel truly blessed.  To have met so many awesome people, even if most of  you are from sju, is amazing.

I had 12 Hamm's during my family Christmas tonight...
Heaven isn't too far away,
Closer to it every day

Willy Wonka

Frank - I'm pretty sure Sly Stallone could be you. His form and dedication in "Over the Top" are a thing of beauty.

Merry Christmas to all. I hope Santa's skinnier than TDT, or he might get stuck in my chimney...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

SUMMIT!!!!!

After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Merry Christmas to all and a wonderful new year.

Frank - That is why we're amazing.

So, what New Years Resolutions are around the corner?
1. To copy ROR's picks all the way up to the Stagg Bowl, then pick the opposite team. (unless it's SJU, then I'll have to think of something else)
2. To win the arm wrestling contest.
3. To watch SJU run the table next year.

I hope that everyone had a good Christmas!  Fins, you got that palace out on the lake yet?  I got blanked this weekend.

Funny you should ask...
Put it out yesterday afternoon. Limited on-ice mobility due to slush/water on top of the ice, but was able to maneuver out to a spot I had GPS'ed a few years ago. Had to leave to pick up my youngest son at his mom's in Bloomington around 4:30. Had 1 bite by that time. Got a call from my other son who was still at the fishhouse with Wooderson's little brother telling me they caught around 20 nice crappies between 5 and 6. They felt so lucky, they wrapped up fishing by 6:30 and went to the casino. Haven't heard how that went yet. ???
Going back out tonight. C'mon up.

Duffman and Finslet, you should both be adequately warmed up for the EelPout Festival on Leech Lake in Walker the weekend of February 10. Unbelievable event and another excuse to drink all the Hamm's you want. If you need a place to stay, let me know.

Thanks JR. Don't know yet if I can get away that weekend, but I'll try. It's been years since I've been to the 'pout fest. All the Hamm's you want and a get-out-of-jail-free card from Earl the Pearl. Can't beat that!

From MSNBC.com:

QuoteFor the record — and a heckuva record it is — John Gagliardi, the head coach of Division III St. John's University in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn., has held that position for 53 years and 408 victories, the most years at one school at any level of college coaching; he's been a head coach for 57 total years and has 432 college victories, which is 73 more than Bowden and 79 more than Paterno, who stand 1-2 in Division I-A. Gagliardi's 57 years ties Stagg for the longest as a college head coach; Eddie Robinson coached Grambling for 55 years.

Funny, all those years and I didn't even know where SJU was :P

Here's the whole story.
