(us)TDT, you are getting dangerously near +K vote territory now.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

I was out doing a little shopping tonight.  The store had a full rack of number 84 Vikings jerseys at a very large discount.

The store will probably pay you to take them!

See ya Saturday Clark.  Don't duck me this week...

There is a difference between "ducking" someone and just plain not having any desire to talk with someone.

Ring! We have a winner!  +k Duff.

Predictable, yes. But this latest version had to happen. Apologies if this was already posted.

I can't see youtube at work, but let me guess?  Hitler hates UST(d)?  There must be some young MIACer skipping class who can put this together quickly.  Just remember to get the pens, light bulbs and fags.  Otherwise Hitler won't be set.

Nice article on Caruso in the Strib this morning...sounds like a solid character.

What's the over/under on comments on this story about Caruso coaching the goophies?  I'd put it at 38.  I'm taking the over.

Dusty,

I cannot tell a lie.  What a monumental blunder on my part.  For many reasons.  How as I to know, 8 years ago, that I would have this opportunity.  I did not attend the Linfield game in 2002.  With funds short and optimism rampant I was saving my money for my second trip to Salem, VA.  Unfortunately I had to wait a year.  I am still waiting to make my 3rd trip to Salem.

Your recollection of flying and riding buses with me could be one of many awesome trips we've made together in our support of the finest d3 football program in the nation.

Perhaps I could personally deliver a note from John to Joe Pa on Saturday.

I guess that was Veek I was sitting next to before I may have even knew what a "Veek" was....

For a number of seasons my only interaction with the big fella was his exceptional peripheral vision scanning the fuselage as we rode off into the sun for another playoff game in some far away locale....

Maybe next year.

Star Tribune as "King Maker"

Even if it is all true, and I hope it is, that is quite a piece for the Star Tribune.

Not very good?

There is no doubt turnovers have been a problem.  Five games with over 500 yards of offense so far this year is the clearest indicator I have seen that they are no good!

Changing topics, what are the odds of a successful on-side kick this week at Olaf?  Sad, very, very sad.

Not to necessarily condone usTDT, but what is the definition of meaningful? It varies according to different people. For usTDT meaningful must mean a game that has playoffs implications. For others, meaningful might be seeing their son play on Saturday. For others, the meaning may come from being with others and tailgating. Perhaps meaningful as a distraction from the problems of life for 3 or so hours on a Saturday. We all have different definitions, but as an SJU Alumnus, we all hope for SJU to win on any given week for a variety of reasons.

Any time 22 young men are on the field, giving their best, for their teammates, school, and themselves it's meaningful.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.
