The joker that wrote that article was a non-roster cross-country runner for Puget Sound, (came in 192nd in the college division of the Willamette invitational in 2004), a soccer player in HS and has the nerve to belittle other college athletes.  >:(

For those who don't know, Emory is a DIII school without a football team. :'(

I'd love to get some time for an editorial rebutal. ::)
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Maybe TDT's triumphant return will cause a much-needed spike in posting before the LL board catches us!

MIAC Must remain #1 at least until TDT comes back.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

7 days till TDT returns

Isn't it down to 6 days now? Maybe Pat can weigh in with an official count on the days until TDT comes off of double secret probation...?

I'd hate to miss the 1st day smite-o-rama.

Willy Wonka

Has anyone tried to post a comment on that chumps column today? I did some digging in my work folders and quoted Jim Jenks of the Philadelphia Inquirer in another response to his article...but it apparently wasn't appropriate to be put on that website.

I'm just curious because it's tone was twice as nice as I usually am to the Johnnies on this board, so it's not like I went overboard. But maybe they cut off responses since none have been posted today. Or maybe the dude just got what he deserved and was tossed out on the street today :)
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I sent one in last night that apparently didn't make the cut.

SO TDT is a Johnnie but hated as much as....

I don't know if I'd say hated.  He's more like a red-headed step-child.  We just love to pick on him.

So Duff your saying that this is TDT??

Correct, I'll change that.

Well TDT says that PC told him "on or about" Feb. 1st.
I hope it's "on", not "about".
KR's right, hate to let the LL bunnies catch up to us.

Just a FYI...the LL posters are taking this seriously and have this board in their sights...

That board (LL) is quite the circle jerk. They've whipped up their karmas into the hundreds. Lotta love in that room.

I'm amazed by the Emory Wheel newspaper, which has in the past presented such gripping articles as "Are we still Coke U?" and "Chess team places highest ever", with the drama reaching a peak in the latter story with the quote, "Two or three years ago, Emory wasn't even mentioned in the chess world."

Hmmmm... you can't make this stuff up....

Shouldn't we then reply in kind with our own game of karma grab ass? I'll start  ;D

Just got an e-mail that my post made the Emory board. Surprisingly, not one person has posted in support of this jackass' ideas.

This just in, at the 1st Stiftunfestivity of the 2006 season, the main event will be.... CAGE MATCH  Duffman vs. Skinny slow cross country virgin from Rook university.[/color]

Thanks KR. In the name of Earl, the king of karma, a little love back to my MIAC friends.
Now off to watch my new favorite karma-themed TV show.
