No offense to LAB but isn't there an unwritten rule about players not posting on the board?

Thefreebird, I think given LAB's maturity  8) he is exempted from that unwritten rule.

That was discussed a while ago.  LAB maintained that he would keep his posting to a minimum and that he would not post any "locker room material."  Thus, he's been accepted.

I read the boards some my junior year and found it too distracting.  I stayed away my senior year.

Bus Driver was getting so close to the 200 post mark I thought for sure he would stick around.  I'm guessing he will return soon with his witty and original "Bethel Sucks" remarks.

I think the Bus got washed away by the hurricane.

If and when he returns I think it more likely his wit and witticism will
make reference to a team that plays at Summit and Cretin.

The Johnnie D is good but have they really been tested?  Do any teams in the MIAC have really good receivers?  You've defeated the bottom half of the league soundly and you've stopped run happy teams in Bethel and Concordia.  I wish there was more parity in the MIAC so we would really know how good teams are.

As for the "god run," my editors are supposed to catch that :).  It was a tribute to the Maniac...

As you can see from my pick'em selections and 03 Stagg prediction I hate going the "what everyone thinks route"  So I suggested some surprising outcomes...

As for Czech, it was time to go.  He never really had a fighting chance and went through some pretty rough times as head coach.  While he wasn't the greatest football mind, he would go to bat for any of his players and he was a great guy.  He is smart and educated and will land on his feet.  I assume it will not be in the coaching profession.

Ritz, it's definitely a passed test but what I'm saying is that the Cobbs didn't really have a formidable passing attack that you guys had to worry about.  I think a more balanced team like Whitewater is more dangerous.  Shut down Beaver and UWW can go to the air, shut down the air and they can go to Beaver...shutdown both and well, I guess the Johnnies win...(please hold all Beaver and Johnnie jokes until 11:00 p.m. cst)

The Johnnies have passed the few tests, or should I say quizzes, that they've had but those tests have been pretty easy.

Beating the defending conference champs who were undefeated at the time on their field is an easy test?

I'd venture to say UWEC was a decent test on the road, given that their running game is last in the WIAC yet the team is tied for second in the conference, and Krzyzanowski leads the WIAC in completions.  But the formula is exactly as LAB described-- get to the QB before he can get it to the WR-- make the QB make mistakes, so good WR may not matter.  But Olaf does have some good WR, as does UST, if looking at the stat sheets.

So where does MAC go from here?  In my mind, this is a critical decision for the college rejoining the MIAC.
