Beating the defending conference champs who were undefeated at the time on their field is an easy test?

Exactly...If only I had Karma Capabilities.

SJU held Concordia to 215 total yards

Concordia gained 418 (148 passing) against what many would consider
a pretty strong defense in Bethel.

Bethel gave up 445 to STO, with 228 passing.

I like the Johnnie defense against the STO offense.

Ritz- What is your picture ???

Esq. Do you feel it is viable for Mac. to return to the MIAC in football? Perhaps that should be directed to OAS or anyone else in the know.

I'm worried about Bus Driver  :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

OAS should settle for nothing less than Athletic Director.

Now, if OAS were to be appointed coach, would Irv Cross still be
coaching the defense?? ???

I am here fellas.  Just relax.  I have just been quite busy the past few days.  Great to meet everyone in Collegeville on Saturday.  Looking forward to a FISH FRY/Hamm's and a Monkey Stomp on Saturday.

OAS,

Do you think Jim Gagliardi would be a good fit at Macalester?

FrankRickard is still here.  I spent Sunday in disarray after another Packers loss, including more injuries...Reggie Bush, here we come.  Yesterday I spent most of the day securing items for my Halloween costume.

Rumor has it that both Mongo and Willy wont' be there on Saturday.  Mongo has to work, but is trying to get out of it.  We're both down for the Fish Fry/Hamm's Fest on Friday night.  Looking forward to Saturday.  It's about time SJU plays someone good at home.

How about a Monkey Stomp Brought to you by Hamm's...a win by 30 points.

I think the ultimate goal is to return to the MIAC for MAC.  It was a five year goal back when the team went independent.  It may take another five years as the team is worse now than when it went independent.

They need to find a high energy, young coach who can recruit like a wild man--a Chris Brann type if you will.

I think Czech just got worn out fighting the same battles every year with admissions and the feeling of NO SUPPORT from the administration.

If CAR can have 80 guys on the roster and be 3-4, well then MAC can be too.  It will just take the right people and the right commitment to pull it off.

Kilted:  A test but not the biggest one you'll face all year if you plan to go deep in the playoffs.  The CON O is relatively weak.

From the analysis the One Arm is giving on the SJU D vs. the Ole O, I think he knows what he is talking about. There is no question that facing Concordia was much more of a test for the Johnnies than any of the Ole opponents, but this will be by far the most balanced and explosive Offense they have seen all year. Also, I think after Saturday people might start talking about James Bechdol in the same class as Dumonceaux. He is the MIAC Leader in Sacks, second in Tackles for loss. Just something for you guys to look out for.

OAS,  maybe someone should talk to the board of trustees about using some of that 700 million dollar endowment for football.  MAC should be able to get Pete Carrol with the money you have.

Wahoo:

In talking with people who have been around the MIAC for many years few have seen a player dominate from the defensive side like Dumonceaux (sp)?   No one should control the game from the NG position like he does.  I have not seen St.O play but I would HIGHLY doubt they have anyone in the ballpark of that talent level.

Personally I am ready to see St. Olaf get worked each of the next two weeks based on the statements I keep  reading.   You guys beat SJU or Cord and I will tip my hat.  I don't think either game will be within 2 touchdowns.
