What are you going to tell us, MR?  Something along the lines of how Porta-potty is going to run rampant on the Johnnies this year?  Please!  Give me a break!

With all this talk about TDT coming back, I can't help but wonder if you guys are this excited for BU posters to start mixing it up? ::) ::)

Mighty Royal

Yeah, we're wet with anticipation.

A few more recruits for the Johnnies.

There was also this interesting little article on the front page of the Times in regards to one of this years recruits.

In regards to Ryan Wimmer.  I've watched him several times over the past couple of years and always thought that he would be a good fit at St. John's even though he would probably get offers at D-II and up schools.  It'll be interesting to see how he does at SJU.

It looks like you guys had a blast yesterday.

I am still laughing about the one LL'er who apparently likes his karma to always be on "69" so his buddies applaud or smite him to keep it there.

Word in the underground says TDT was caught dissing PC behind his back. Pat responded by dealing the loudest of loudmouth Johnnies a potentially career-ending injury. I mean, it's hard to type without a few fingers, right? Still, it was probably a little generous on Pat's part - TDT deserves far worse if you ask me :)

For those missing OAS, he just gave a State of the MIAC address on the basketball boards. Check it out.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I think Wimmer will do very well at SJU. Good solid player who'll fit right in, I think.
Reading that link lead me to the following about the planned Petters Pavillion...

HUH? You mean the double secret probation will continue?

fins - No, that's just wishful thinking I guess  ;)

BlueDevil Bob, great to hear you have been to Longville. My parents purchased some lake property there the year I was born. Many good memories and plenty of parties over the years. The Longville muni is the staging area for the siblings' party that ends on Leech Lake for the EelPout festival.

The game at Stout in 2000 was memorable, especially for the Johnnies. Great post-season that fall. Trips to Menomonie, Tacoma (which I didn't make), Pella, Abilene and Salem. I will never forget the Rats riding onto the field at Hardin-Simmons with the play horsies.

Anybody here know what QB Linnemann is doing now?

I remember when that SJU team came here and kicked Stout's butt in the playoffs.

That was one icy day.

BDB, I remember that game quite well also.  So cold I had to take my daughter to the car at half time to warm her up.  We showed up a little late and the first play I saw was Stout running back the extra point try for a safety.

The other thing I remember is your defensive end, Huzinga (sp?).  Man, what a horse.  Seemed to have a bit of an attitude.

Well I just got back from a three day conference for work. I had been asked to be on a panel and was sitting in front getting all ready to share my wisdom when a gentleman in a Linfield sweatshirt comes and sits right in front of me! I talked to him later during dinner and found out that he is a lurker on the board. It was great chatting about the rivalry between the Johnnies and the Cats. You just never know where you will run into a Post Patterns reader. If you are reading this, Hi Dan! ;D

I'll say.  He was in our backfield a lot.  He really had it out for Tom L.  I remember an option that Tom ran and Hazuga smoked him long after the pitch for a 15 yard penalty.  Whoops!

JohnnieRed,

We used to go from Woman Lake by boat through a chain of water to the Longville municipal docks to get groceries. I would buy some property there if it wasn't so damn hard to get there from here, traffic-wise.

Jeff Hazuga, pronounced Huz-Ga, was on the Vikings pre-season and practice squad for awhile.
That was a magical year for the BlueDevils (10-0) until the Johnnies came to town.

KR, you'll love it.

Saw it... they might as well tear down the whole damn woods and pave the whole damn campus.

Hell, why not just move SJU into Minneapolis, start recruiting U of MN dropouts with authority issues and call it Augsburg?

That damn school will do anything for money including destroying what makes it great.

Thank you again Br Reinhart for once again selling SJU's soul to the highest bidder.

Prediction: There will be a corporate sponsored banner on the Bell Tower by 2010.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
