Hey Tommie fans, a St. John Fisher alum and fan here.  It looks as though you have a hell of a program out there.  What can we expect to see next SatErday?

nice touch Washed up  :)

SJF fans-- you can expect to see a lotta your rush attempts stuffed at or behind the line of scrimmage. You can expect you see your QB wearing brown pants by halfitme. You can expect to see a lot of Tobin..rushing past your guys. You can expect to have a headache named Waldvogel. You can expect your Cinderella season to crash and burn. You can expect to be know how Wooster's basketball team felt in March.

You'll have to excuse the Tommie fans beating their chest. They did just beat the Midwest Conference Champions today.  ;)

Well like many Tommie fans I look forward to a matchup with UWW or UMU.  We had a chance to possibly play UMU last year, but we didn't take advantage of it.

UST and UWW both played UWRF this fall in River Falls, and I went to both games, both teams won by a decent margin.  If we get to play on Dec 11th, and both teams play their best, I do believe it will be a close game decided in the 4th quarter.

Cardinal Pride

Well St John Fisher is not waiting to play Mount Union they have played them in 2006, 2007 and 2008.  Lost all three but the Cards have gotten off the porch and ran with the "Big Dogs" already.

Speaking of romper room, don't tell us, show us, Cardinal Pride. Have a good week of practice, get your QB healthy (we want your best shot), safe travels (hopefully we're hosting) and bring it on Saturday!

None of the current players would have played in the '06 or '07 games (barring some sort of medical redshirt), and the '08 game was to open the season.  I doubt there is going to be much carry over from the first game of a college career.

What you can expect to see from UST is an outstanding defense that has allowed 39 points allowed in their last 8 games, including games against St. John's, Bethel, and Monmouth (the nation's top scoring offense this season). They have a balanced offense and a great kick and punt returner.

One thing the Tommies have going against them is they haven't really played a great team in over a month, with Bethel being the last really challenging game.  It looked like they may have came out a little flat in the first half against Monmouth and turned the ball over several times.  If they can come out and click right away I think they should win and give the MIAC their 7th semi-finalist since 2000.

Very true but the coaching staff is intact and some of the players from those teams are now coaches on this years team.   Does it mean anything?  Only time will tell.

What I think Cards was trying to say was that we have played the best before.
There is a respect but no fear.
This is not the first rodeo, if ya get my drift.
And, while i understand your lack of knowledge about Fisher- I dont understand the arrogance of some of the St. T Faithful.

You are lucky its just Tommie fans, if this were Johnnie fans, you would already be seeking treatment.  They would chew you up, spit you out and take a leek on you just for good measure.  Oh yes my friends, us Tommies are mild compared to our fellow Catholics to the North.

fisheralum91

Gee that was profound.
I guess I should consider myself lucky that i didnt get "leeked" on....Hmm?
