The concept of diet beer has always escaped me anyway.

But the idea of drinking a diet Hamm's when regular Hamm's is available, well, the concept is so weird as to elude elaboration.

It's like over here in Wiscy when you talk about 3.2 beer sold on Sundays in Minny, the natives get this weird, contorted look on their faces.

I will say, since I am in the business of selling beer and other things, that the top 5 or so selling beer brands are all diet beer.

BDB- I'd karmabomb you for that but I can't for a while yet. Well said. But the 3.2 thing is kind of a joke when you're talking lite beers since they hover around that level anyway.
I remember when I laughed at bottled water being sold. I thought that was really dumb when you could get all you wanted for free right out of the tap.

And you all laughed when I brought the 24 pack from Illinois-guess we are on the cutting edge down here. But no sign of Hamms's Light here-we do have some taste-but not as much as TDT.

The reasoning behind going to the 24 pack is to get Hamm's Light...I don't get the reasoning there.  That's like making St. Johns football team play with 12 guys so TDT can be on the field.

I think I found Johnnie Red sunbathing on top of his fish house at the Eelpout Festival last year...
