I assume there were adult beverages involved!!

I doubt it.  Josh would do that totally sober.  The guy in the video is the guy who he is.

Agree the Bethel has a chance to be outstanding.  L Buttenhoff started to establish himself as last season unfolded.  I expect big things from him this year.

The kid comes from a solid family & he has a heart as big as Texas.
I concur that Luke has the potential to be added to a long line of Bethel's outstanding defensive players of the past decade.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Oh, really.  I was wondering if there was any relation there.

Along with new field turf La Verne is installing a video board.  Good for them.

Agree the Bethel has a chance to be outstanding.  L Buttenhoff started to establish himself as last season unfolded.  I expect big things from him this year.  S Mathis is indeed a beast, and will make some highlight reel plays.  With E Smith and B Skoog outside, I wonder how many snaps there will be for P Jacobson.  With his speed (fast) and size (light), he seems well suited to move to a safety spot, but I'm not a coach so that likely won't happen.  Among the d-backs to emerge this fall, I liked what I saw from J Treimer in limited action last year.  Curious to see what the rookie from Anoka brings to the DB mix.

Yeah, they're loaded at Alley and Safety. Good problem to have, but it means guys who'd start on a lot of other teams are backups. And Fregeau does a great job getting plenty of guys in the mix at Linebacker as well. Those guys thrive on the competition and push each other. Ultimately, its great for the team, depth and talent-wise.

They've also got some transfers coming in that they're high on. A D-lineman from UWSP and a Safety from the U who played HS ball in Northfield (QB/Safety)

Should be a great place to watch re-runs.  I always loved Squiggy.

I know it's exciting and all, but the picture is kind of meh:

Maybe if pictures from Mars are displayed on DIII video screens between plays I'll get more excited.

Some transfer news from the SC Times.

Vakulskas — a 5-foot-11, 187-pound wide receiver who redshirted at Augustana (S.D.) last season...

Vasquez — a 6-3, 272-pound offensive/defensive lineman who played at Los Angeles Harbor Community College

So that's good.  But there's this odd quote:

"I didn't finish two core classes in high school, so my plan was to go to junior college first and then look at St. John's after that," Vasquez said. "It worked out well. I was able to complete my freshman year with like a 3.4 or 3.6 GPA."

He didn't know his GPA?

And Rajkowski's snap of the new uniform:
