As a d-lineman, a 5.00 second 40 was unattainable for me.  ;D

You one of those linemen they timed with a sundial?

No, that is the offensive linemen.  :D

The Johnnies open the NCAA hockey championships at UW-EC, the galaxy's second most wretched hive of scum and villainy.
How'd the Johnnies do?

Yeah, we lost. But you're still UW-EC.

Hurts to be me.  Sucks to be you.  :o

Retired Old Rat

Great showing by the Johnnie pucksters.  Competed very well against the number 4 team in the country on EC's home ice.  Something to build on for future success.

Are you Eau Claire's only fan?  ::)
You have to remember that EC is also the home of Walters beer which was mediocre at best. When Chippewa quit dumping raw sewage into the river it got worse.  : :P

bennie,
From today's Denver Compost:
Buffaloes upset Ducks 76-53. Sounds like a Duck football score - in March ???

Maybe I'm still messed up over what the Jackets did to the Avs ;)

Any of the SJU alums in the Post Patterns world thinking of attending the Family and Friends weekend in June?  Could be a pretty fun weekend.

I have nothing against Walters or the Blugolds but growing up in Chippewa we had no use for the EC Old Abes & preferred Leinies. Heilman Old Style Lager and Special Export were considered premium. Actually I think Walters closed quite a while ago.

Mighty long drive to go Squatchin'.  The story says the Johnnies will make an "11 hour trip."  Does this mean they are bussing it up there?  Holy crap!!

Winnipeg would have been closer.  8-)
