I thought it was pretty cool when I saw it on tv this morning as well.  Such a special moment for that 7 year old.

Speaking of youngsters playing sports, anyone see the article in the Star Tribune this morning about a 14 year old player from China who will be playing in the Masters this week? He is the youngest ever in the Masters and the youngest player at any major in 148 years.

This IWU grad thought it was pretty awesome, too.

I'm glad he noted that d1 athletes in non-revenue sports tend also to be genuine scholar-athletes.  I'd just add that there are some scholar-athletes in the revenue sports, also - just not nearly enough of them. :P

I will admit that it's well done but I will continue to contend that U$T is one of the least D3 institutions in D3.

I think that Australia is a very, very funny place.  I've been waiting for this add for milk to show up on you tube so I could show it here. It makes me laugh so hard my stomach hurts.
